Almost 80% of the points are common anywhere in the world. Major issue to be considered is weather, more than 7 months you got to bear the bitter cold and improper sunlight (few weeks). You have to deal with your professional settlement. As you said it takes some time. Things are different for experienced professionals from India(fresh immigrants ) and local educated people(students). Students who study here in Canada have more advantage in settling than international professionals as these people need to update their skills to match with the Canadian working environment. But IT people are exceptional because of their nature of work environment which is almost similar everywhere .
Other things like cost of living and insurances are expensive.
Being a Canadian citizen, I would suggest three kind of situations are good for living in Canada
    1. Well experienced professional(Indian) who can find relavent job in Canada
    2. Fresh graduate seeking future in Canada.
    3.For entrepreneurs .

Nice video mam. One another thing is a lot of people especially South Indians think they can play in snow and make ☃️ snowman’s, but in reality you cannot even go out even if it’s sunny outside and you have snow as well. That’s the hardest part and that’s when you realize your biggest mistake and start to go into depression.

However, on the positive side, Canada gives good social security better than USA. Work culture is better compared to India. 5 days a week work, is a bonus. One get to spend quality time with family.

    • @rajvan177
      @rajvan177 2 года назад

I agree but work culture it is based on the way you handle. In India it got ruined because we work more than what company pays. Additionally people work on weekends and late hours to get recognization from manager. In countries like USA and Canada working extra hours is not appreciated they plan work and resources accordingly and you will have right to complain if work is more and company will add extra resources or pay for hours you worked.

Yes, you are right. Only education is free. Even if we are paying 35% tax Health care benefits are not great because we won’t get immediate treatment anywhere in Canada. In terms of house rents / real estate prices - we know that our Indians only culprits to spoil any environment. So, almost 80% of real estate people are our Indians here and they only creating demand and increasing prices. Except land of the country, everything is imported into Canada . Because of that, all of the prices are very high here.

@10.44, I guess that's the most important point. In Indian Software companies also, Soft Skills are more important than technical skills. But in USA, Technical skills are more important. They literally give the terminal and ask for live coding demonstration. This is the main difference between India and USA wrt IT industry. People who are good at technically will shine in USA and people who are good at communication or soft skills, will shine in India. Now, I came to know that they will shine in Canada too.

Some reformation should take place,, with a like minded people like u.

Real estate, health care, schools, transport also increased alot putting the blame on COVID but ground reality is Mafia. Day today middle class life is very stressful in India.

The problem with free health care in Canada is you cannot just walk in to hospital if you have a fever or any other issues.
It takes months to book an appointment with a doctor.
The wait-list is so high and I'll give you an example.
One of my friends shoulder got dislocated and he went to ER.
They took his x-ray and asked to come next week since there aren't any appointments available.
Theyve applied a normal bandage just to make the shoulder to not move.
The other friend waited for almost 8 hrs in ER when he was experiencing gastric issue.
The worst part is they don't give your medical reports to you. It'll be held with the hospital.
There are many such cases and that's why they are trying to make health care private in Toronto where they'll literally rob your entire savings for a small surgery or minor health issue.

Wow, that's really bad. I think US will be like that pretty soon. No wonder why people over there are opting for assisted death. Looks like there are too many people on this planet and thus there's no value for human life. I wish US become as liberal as Canada in offering assisted death before I face old age problems.

Once you step out of your hometown, things will not be the same, even within India if one were to go to a different part of India, things would not be the same
So one should not be surprised if one were to travel, stay or work in a different country, this is the ground reality

For the people watching from India and are planning to come here:
    1. Life in Canada is not all glitters. Canada is more expensive than US
    2. Canadian salaries are less than of US and taxes are more compared to the US
    3. Savings are very very less compared to what you get in India
    The most important one :
    1. You are literally fucked up for atleast few years when you are involved in an accident or having any health issue.
    2. Insurance eats up a major chunk of your paycheck.
You could only live a peaceful life when both husband and wife are working and are earning atleast 8k per month from an household.
If you are a family of 4 the expense itself to just run a family would be around 6k per household considering you are renting an apartment. Think of what you should earn in this case.
So, finally don't fall for the Instagram posts from your friends.
Most of them are probably broke.
