Just reading the book, The Boys in the Boat, about the Univ of Washington crew that rowed into history in the 1936 Olympics. Young Joe Rantz, one of the story’s stars, worked a summer here, jackhammering from a rope! Amazing footage here.

my grandfather died there in 1930 when my dad was 8 from nebraska they killed my grampa with a rivet
