PROJECT-BRUTALITY: UPDATE! NEW Difficulty and Flashlight!

- Trying something crazy, playing Maps of Chaos OVERKILL on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY and Item and Monster respawning to make it even crazier but a little bit balanced.
Trying out the newest PB UPDATE with new difficulty settings and names:
- Normal Violence is the default, it's standard Ultra-Violence spawns with no extra modifiers
- Ultra-Violence has more aggressive monsters and a higher damage factor.
- Im Too Old To Live has more enemy health, higher damage, 100% more aggressive monsters, and faster monsters.
I've also updated my build with the latest PB, latest glory kill and newest version of Flashlight ++ v9.
Glory kill is updated to add a setting that makes the flame and ice bomb use ammo again and no longer a cooldown.
Modded Doom using PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0, wad is Maps of Chaos OVERKILL on the HARDEST difficulty I'M TOO OLD TO LIVE using Corruption Cards in CHAOS Mode, More Monsters mode.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose FPS drops suddenly in the game. By the way, that cannon on his back that launches various things, is it part of the update or is it a separate mod?

Darn, can't get this to work at all so will have to keep using my older PB setup. Unsure why, just hangs. Will keep tweaking until I find the culprit.

For some reason, I cannot move. I've re-done the WASD key bindings, still nothing. Added a power slide mod, and when I moved the game had a fatal error.
that happened to me and it was annoying asf
what worked for me for some reason was resetting all the settings to default

Okay so I guess it's not just me then. There seems to be a bug where whenever you stand next to a wall the game seems to think you're crouching for some reason. Gets kind of annoying since it plays the crouching sound every time, which is near constant in the more narrow sections of maps.
thats an intended feature called cover it reduces all your guns recoil
@@KetxGaming Ah so it's like Mass Effect then, and probably other games but Mass Effect is the only game I know of that definitely had that mechanic. The effect is generally very subtle and easy to miss. The only reason I know Mass Effect even had it is because I looked it up, I never noticed when I played it. I'm not sure that sort of mechanic really fits a more run and gun game like Doom (seriously when are you ever going to hold still like that, that's a death sentence in this game,) and the constant sound effect is still annoying. At the very least I think the devs should add a HUD image unique to it, like a marine pressing his back against a wall, rather than using the crouch image so it's more clear what's going on.

Serious question, where should i buy it? I installed and played mods like “Brutal Doom” and “Complex Doom Clusterfuck” on ZDL on the past, but didn’t know i have to buy the game to play this new mod.
I mean, i have the WADS, only works with legit game?
@@josenunez9841 i bought mine on steam and you need doom.wad or doom2.wad to play and the correct gzdoom version

What I do is use ZDL, you have it all in the proper load order, then save as a .zdl file;)

@@ngram4536Dude,I have problems with the ZDL launcher (I did everything correctly, but I don’t know why it doesn’t launch), so I would like KETX to create it as one file (PK3), maybe then I won’t have problems. Again, if it's not difficult🫨
Holy Shit! Just looked at the description again and see what you mean. And I thought the slightly older version of Clustefuck had too many items in the load order lol. Since they're all compatible it SHOULD be possible for most of them, but I never tried combining .pk3s. Wish I could help but I've only done minor edits in Slade:(

I miss that page where most of the mods made for PB were. The ports of weapons such as the Cyberdemon Cannon, the SSGC (my favorite), the improved revolvers (which had a new animation) among others. Will you have those mods on your Discord server?
I dont have a discord, and im pretty sure these addons have been updated to work by Ares, check pb discord

That's just the new gun smoke spawning function. Is your build entirely from GitHub or did you try replacing only the change files ? And what GZDoom version are you using ?
