Peter McNicol is such an under-appreciated actor. Brilliant performance the chemistry bitween Peter and the comic genius legend Rowan is amazing and even though Rowan is the key element of the film. Peter does really stand on his own and does it well.

That piece, apparently, is worth $750k (if the replies are to be believed, 0.1% of the original painting's worth). I'm not joking, Mona Lisa with a goatee is high art to a point that the original is worth a 2 bedroom house. Want me to turn this from an art lecture into something funny? That means the painting at 8:04 would actually be artistically justifiable if, at least in the world of the film, it wasn't the original.

Love the contrast between how much each person values that painting. One guy is willing to pay 50 million dollars for one painting while Bean is like "that's a nice...frame"
