    I tried it and it works wonderfully. The smallest and third smallest on my bail making pliers works great for a larger chain. My roundnose pliers, marked as you suggested, work great for a smaller, more delicate chain. What a wonderful skill addition. Thanks.

    I had seen this chain in another video as you were showing items you had made with the pattern you were going to show us that day. I tried to figure it out, got close but still didn't get it right. Thank you for showing us how to do it, I was getting frustrated, LOL! Have a great weekend :)

    Beautiful..& so much easier than the way I had been trying to do it...see, this is why I'll need years & years of practice..even tho it's been several already...I spent SO much time opening the little round parts to slide the "horseshoe" into it, then try closing, getting them even & matching up..,lol...it was so time consuming I quit 3 halfway thru..which was 3 days wasted! Thank you!!

    I had to play with 20 gauge just to get the jist because my 18 is in the mail. It took a bit of adjusting to get the link I like. I think I am going to love working with this chain. You are awesome for sharing your craft. Here in Canada it costs a small fortune to buy copper chain.

      @@4girlsjewelry for sure I will be trying this one, maybe even tonight (I get migraines that f with my circadian rhythm) So it’s an all nighter.
      Do you ever use cotter pin links in your chains? Would you consider the elongated links to be cotter pin…. Nope just went back to other video? I have to go back and watch again. Now I think I can use that clothes pin.✌️❤️
      Update: this is a fun link dots take a bit of practice. I’m on it though.

    I know how to make new chain links! Thank you ✌🏼️ The only hard part is my fingers don't work like they used to but I think bending wire is slowing the stiffening of my hands and fingers and also reducing the pain

    I tried it, it’s very sturdy. I used the 2nd and 3rd steps of a 6 step bail making pliers with 18 gauge wire. Very sturdy, no sharp edges if you cut exactly as you say. Thank you!! 🥰
