    These are beautiful. I practice with dead soft copper which is reasonably priced. The longer length leftover is more practical for use for other elements, e.g., earring wires, head pins, single bead links, etc. Shorter length could be more wasteful. Or could be recycled. If I worry about waste, I won't experiment as much. Thank you.

    The wire thats cut off, is not waste while you can use for eyepins or chain links with beads with a single loop

    This looks so pretty and it looks to be adaptable so it can be made to individual sizes. I was wondering with other beading or wire projects, how do you adapt to size? I have a 7 inch 18 cm wrist. I would like to adapt my bracelets to fit between 7 1/2 to 8 inches or 19 to 20 cm. I like them to be a little loose. Any suggestions?

    What is the maximum gauge you have used for this knot? What are the maximum amount of wires you have used? I would like to make something chunkier versus more dainty. Thank you!

    Why cut 6 x 15 cm when 5 x 10 cm later end up in the trash

    • @thehuntressdanni2972
      @thehuntressdanni2972 11 месяцев назад +2

      I was thinking the same. Why not just start on the far ends and measure up to where that first centre bend is, then double that distance, maybe add a centimeter extra for use while working it, and then trim only that tiny bit off after instead of all that wasted material?
      I'm not a zero waste person but this seems like 60% of the material being used isn't actually used. And that's such a material waste, monetary waste and just... Why not use the perfectly good material for more links or for other projects?
      I honestly thought she would weave all the knots in one go and then separate them and then attach them to each other afterwards and have almost zero waste leftover.

    • @hollylowery26
      @hollylowery26 3 месяца назад +1

      I love the look of these knots. However you are wasting so much wire. Materials are expensive and I see no reason for all the waste. Please think of the world that we live on, you are destroying it! Definitely not watching you ever again!

    • @kajunheart871
      @kajunheart871 13 дней назад

      @@hollylowery26 I’m not sure you understand that the knot couldn’t be made without the lengths of wires being all of the same. The wire cut off was definitely not waste, it can be set aside for a variety of other projects. To accuse her of not thinking of the planet is just crazy!
      You made sure to point out because of this your never watching her again! How old are you??
      Others apparently have ignored your bad behavior and your immature words, I find them childish and uncalled for.
