  • Join us for a garden harvest, tomatoe pruning & processing downed trees for firewood. Winter
    is coming and there are many chores to do on our 160 acre Alaska homestead.
    Living off grid means working hard every day because we are relying on ourselves.
    We believe in this type of living and we are willing to put the work in.
    We enjoy knowing where our food is coming from and are always learning.
    Thank you for joining us on our adventures!!!

    Awesome. So happy your garden is producing. You look like you will have sauce, sauerkraut and beets to can. Have you pulled any onions, they are looking strong.
    Good rain for the potatoes. How are the items Lily planted outside doing?

      @Alaskan6pack  Месяц назад

      Doing great...! Our rhubarb has started to come up! So exciting... yes I agree on the potatoes.
      We have not pulled any onions just yet. They are not huge just yet. Do you know why the purple cabbage is not getting a " ball" ?
