It’s so refreshing to watch your “Real Time Journal With Me” sessions. I feel like you give me permission to cut up my travel brochures and other ephemera which I am otherwise reluctant to do!
We have a membership to a museum where we are fortunate to enjoy that many other museums participate in reciprocal program. It is so fun to experience museums wherever we go, all on the one, affordable membership! For the kids… make up a scavenger hunt or bingo style game. It really gets them engaged in the experience.
I live in Washington DC so I have so many wonderful museums to visit. Today I plan to go to the National Gallery of Art to see an exhibit of the work of Dorthea Lange, a wonderful photographer. I’m visiting Japan in November and am so inspired by your videos for my travel journal.
What a great and soothing vid. I doodle in the meantime, and love to hear you chat about Japan, can't get enough of it. as it is so far from Europe... absolute marvel episode ✨
Mits, you could give a master class in tip ins! It's so fun watching you journal and hearing about your adventures! 🥰💞 We recently went to the Natural History Museum in LA and it was a lot of fun! It was the first time I'd been there since I was a kid so it was cool to be able to relive the memories with my son. 🦖
The Walters Museum in Baltimore, Maryland USA is my local museum and it’s incredible! I love the medieval knights of armor exhibit. I’ve been to museums in Italy and elsewhere and nothing beats my local museum-it’s rarely crowded and has interactive scavenger hunts and other quiet games for the kids to play as they explore.
I lived in MD for 30 years, and in the last bit of my time there I LOVED to go to the Walters, then Dooby's for lunch and coffee, and afterwards to the American Visionary Art Museum store. It was always such a fun day!
I looooove going to Onsen in Japan! It's probably my favorite part about going. I've been to Korean Sauna/Spas in the US with the same concept so I felt more prepared when I first went to Japan. I think I helped make the other girls in my group feel more comfortable too because they were quite shy when we went to Onsen in Japan together. It's such a relaxing experience and I can't wait to go back to Japan to experience more of them! I really want to visit this museum as well. It was on my list to go last time but we didn't get around to it. Glad to hear you had a great experience there!
I took my 2 year old to the motor museum locally last week and they were *so frustrated* about not being allowed to sit in the cars! Our best museum experiences with them have been places where they specifically lay things on for kids. We have a similar open air museum a couple of hours away at St Ffagans and I'm keen to see if just having some wide open spaces means it's more fun for the little oneeven if they're not interested in the buildings
Thank you for showcasing the Tokyo Edo Museum so beautifully … beginning with your journaling / how to do tip ins …
So enjoyable to watch !

Thank you for sharing your adventures in Japan! Beautiful journal pages.
I am organizing my work planner. I enjoy planning with you! Your voice is so cheerful and relaxing! 😊

I would love to visit Japan some day to see all the beautiful places you've shown us over the years!

One of my favorite museums is the Hirshhorn. It’s a modern museum and they exhibit artists that are still alive which is something that I enjoy

I love the idea of stamping stations. I wish we had them here. I would love to visit Japan, but the next best thing is watching your videos!!

If I were in shape, I’d definitely go to a bath house😅
Public bathhouse, maybe🦢Museum, the Eric Carle Museum in Ohio (I think) 🎨🩵
I'm working on my TN everything journal while watching :)
