Out of curiosity, I read some reviews of the fish & chip shop. One reviewer said they bought the sausage & thought it was so bad that they tried to feed the batter to the seagulls but even they wouldn't eat it.

I had my first baby in 2020 and I definitely think what Rose said about not going anywhere is a contributing factor to having big depression cos it’s hard to distinguish whether your life is so much different because of the baby or because of covid - like things have been up in the air for everyone the last couple of years so if you have a baby too it is very overwhelming

Rose, interesting that you want to fly and I can relate to the danger. Some small planes have what's called a ballistic parachute that can be pulled if the plane's controls malfunction. A parachute for the plane itself so it can slow fall to the ground. It's a nice added safety in the extremely rare case that happens. Engine failures are not that uncommon but are not really dangerous because the plane can glide to the ground in a controlled fashion. So ask for a plane with a ballistic parachute and you should be in good condition.

My mom’s wife just got hers at 68, and when you’re first learning you don’t know when the instructor allows you to take over, and when they’re overpowering you. If you do ANYTHING wrong, their controls overpower yours, for all you know they’re flying the whole time. After you’ve flown solo without knowing it to the point that the instructor can not only tell that you know what you’re doing, but YOU know that you know what you’re doing, you actually fly solo, as in you’re the only person in the plane. It’s done that way so you can focus on learning and not second guessing yourself!
Rose, you already have in a previous video. It was the last time you gave up caffeine & you ended up thinking you had bum cancer but it was just bum grapes. Hope that doesn't happen again! 🤞

I have flight anxiety and I just went on a 2 hour flight and back! I recommend the book "soar" it really helped me. Now I only feel bad during take off but then I'm fine which is a big improvement!

I’ve flown a plane before! I’m terrified of heights (not flying though), but I barely even felt scared. I had a few flying lessons (but I got diagnosed with Bipolar a few weeks after I started and American law doesn’t allow me to get a private license) and I absolutely loved it. You don’t have the time to feel scared because you’ll be so preoccupied with flying the plane. Most instructors are also super nice and understanding and help you through the fear. Even if you don’t end up going as far as getting your license, I really suggest at least trying it out. It’s an extremely memorable experience!
You both look so happy and relaxed. First year with a baby is trying and tiresome but as he gets old it’s gets easier and you bring him along and make many great memories. Flying, being a pilot, is the very best fun.. its like driving in fog except you have instruments that tell you where you are… it is the most freedom … I’ve never done skydiving but imagine would have that same sensation of being totally free. Absolutely the very best. Can you imagine being a bird. I had to quit flying cause cost of fuel just got too much. Enjoy yourself and a wonderful birthday to all 3!
The thought of an ambulance taking more than ten minutes to get to me gives me so much anxiety. The thought of having to wait HOURS is just unthinkable.
@@olive8055 some people who are vomiting need an ambulance. There are tons of deadly diseases that cause vomiting and need to be addressed. Where I live if you call an ambulance for any reason whatsoever they show up in under 20 minutes. There's no debate with the dispatcher on what is or isn't an emergency because they let the doctor decide that.
@@jaxystarr7108 Well that's not how it works here. They prioritise people who actually need them. Imagine one child is vomiting and another up the road isn't breathing. Who do you think they'll see first? It's just common sense. If every person called 999 whenever their child vomited, no one would be able to get through the phone lines because they'd be that busy. It's extremely unlikely to be an emergency situation.
I had food poisoning last month! It is truly the worst, most demoralizing illness. Relentless vomiting while you're begging someone, anyone, to make it stop. I'm happy you and Ziggy pulled through, but it's crazy how sensitive the stomach feels for days and days!
