There's a couple of videos around on how to do this, but this is by far the best. I didn't have the tool, but found that grinding the end of an old toothbrush to a chiseled point worked too. The shades-of-grey union jack is the better choice. The blue in the color version didn't really match the dark blue (sorry - reef blue metallic) very well.
Nice Video!! I'm in Brazil and a have de mirror caps, but I don't have the tool that appears in the video. what kind of tool should I use to get the job done ?
Keith is a Righteous Dude!!
Thanks! Replaced the caps on my 2014 Countryman, it went flawlessly AND they look great!
Thanks buddy, you helped us a lot!
I put my checkered mirror cap on myself...... I didn't see the tool so I used a putty knife. It worked...so proud of myself
Thanks Keith. Clear and effective instructions.
Just fitted my new caps without any problem.
Excellent job on your videos, Keith. Much appreciated!!
Can't wait to get my checkered mirror caps for my 05 convertible 😁

Thank you! Just swapped out my mirror caps and it took no time at all! I used the smallest tool that came with my trim removal kit.
Thank you! Dealerships here charge more per mirror to instal than the mirrors actually cost lol
Thank you for this video. Just installed them woot! Subscribed!
Very cool video.
That tool looks just like a plastic picnic knife (?).
Are these mirrors considered powerfold? what's the difference?

I used one of the smaller thin tools that came with my trim removal kit.
Is it the same on a 2014 Countryman?
Mine keeps coming off when I drive
That easy? Dealer wanted to charge me $150 to install them.
