Manufacturing: First Article Part Inspection

Griffin Armament is committed to producing peerless quality parts and providing maximum value to our customers. It's for these reasons and more that we've invested a significant amount of time and money into state-of-the-art metrology equipment to perform in process inspections on all parts being manufactured at Griffin HQ.
In this video, Austin gives an overview of how we use the Keyence IM series machine, and a calibrated microscope setup to inspect all first article parts across the Griffin Armament product line. This equipment is also used by our machinists throughout the production run to ensure consistent part quality, consistent tool wear offsets, and accuracy of our manufacturing processes.

Cool video. I would be interested in learning more about the various types of welds and whatnot. It would make for an interesting video for sure.
