If you look deep into the comment section of the original video of this, you'll find a comment from none other than Phil Collins-yes, THAT Phil Collins. Icons supporting Icons. Gotta love it.

Not a pop music person, never been a Taylor Swift fan, musically , although I admire her greatly for her fearlessness. She should explore this sort of singing more, here she is a singer, not a performer. I listened to the whole thing. It was good.

By your comment i don’t think you know much about Taylor’s discography. Perhaps mostly her “radio hits” I would really recommend you to look into her long pond studio sessions. I would say Taylor is first a songwriter, then a musician (singer, producer ) and then performer. If you liked this I think you would like long pond and her albums folklore and evermore

As a normal, non toxic Swiftie I appreciate your honesty. People have a right to their own musical taste. I also want to compliment you on giving her props on other things. So many people who aren't into her music hate on her for no reason. Since you enjoyed this performance you might enjoy Taylor's
      -The long pond sessions
-Beautiful Ghosts from the Cats soundtrack
-Carolina from the book/movie Where the Crawdads Sing. The 4 minute version. Taylor loved the book and as soon as she heard it was going to be turned into a movie, she was inspired to write and record a song for it, without being asked. She only used instruments made before 1955 since the book/movie is set in the 50's. When she was done writing and recording it she sent it to the director and producer with a letter, explaining why she wrote and recorded the song. They said as soon as they heard it they both burst into tears. That the song could not have been more perfect. It is used at the very end.
      - I can't remember the name of this song but it is from the Hunger Games. It is by Taylor featuring The Civil Wars.
Those are all songs that you would not hear on the radio from Taylor that might be more your taste.
I am sure you have heard about the toxic Swifties. I wrote that at the beginning in case they attack you for no reason. When someone has millions of fans there are always going to be some nasty ones and they are the loudest! Most of us are nice. 🫶

I thought I wasn’t into Taylor Swift’s music either until I really started listening to it. Her discography is absolutely amazing and when you listen to her deep cuts, you will be blown away. I recommend her albums Folklore and Evermore, as well as TTPS, mainly the second part, the Anthology. Also her song Carolina from the Where the Crawdaddies Sing movie, as someone else has mentioned. Honestly, all of her albums are good. It is mainly her hit singles that often tend to be very “pop.”

You rule ❤️As does your beautiful family 💖 Happy 38🎉 I’m not on patreon yet, but once I am, I look forward to jumping the line 😊 Taylor’s live lounge (npr) cover of Vance Joy’s Riptide is worth a listen. As if you don’t have enough to do!
