The bass on 120 is much deeper, it actually distorted my speakers when you switched....😆

Ive got a pair of pb100. Is it worth switching to a pair of 120s?...
I guess it depends if you’re having any problems with the 100s, are the batteries still holding up?
I think next to each other the 120 does sound marginally clearer and more premium but if you’re swapping them out you won’t notice day to day.

Someone said they are adding this feature in upcoming update.
I prefer the 110s lights, mainly those smaller tweeter lights. Also, has the 120 lost those little rubber bumpers for lying the speaker flat?

Yea they seem to have removed it for some reason. It was on the spares website when I published this video... Maybe they ran out of stock? Hopefully it will re appear soon

Hi does the 120 work if you remove the battery and plug it into the mains power? Just asking if the battery were to fail.

Yes, that's one of the pros of the partybox 120. I am using it without the battery and just plugged it into the main power source.

@@maryannecaliso949 I personally have never really had much desire for anything louder than a 120 on a daily basis. But if you find you’re after something 20-30% louder. Then the 320 is the obvious upgrade. I wouldn’t say it’s a world apart, it’s just got that slight edge over the 120.
However, in my opinion, the 120 sounds better than the 320 at low volumes. But if you play at high volumes more often that won’t bother you.
The portability isn’t too different, as the wheels and handle on the 320 make it easy to slide around 👌

Hi, have you updated the PB110 to fw version 1.38.0? There are people complaining on reddit about less deep bass but I have done the update and noticed no difference, but I must admit that I hadn't used it for a little before. Could you please let me know?

Yea both speakers are up to date. I personally noticed no difference either!

I prefer the way that the bass sounds on the 110. In my opinion, the bass is tighter on the newer models, a little too tight, in my opinion.
The 110 puts out more of a medium sounding bass. It’s not too loose or too tight. It falls right in the middle. They should’ve left the sound signature alone. I’m not the only one who feels this way.
My 120’s keypad with bleutooth/bassboost button not functioning, could this be factory fault?

Does anybody knows how to change the input source on the new stage 320? On the 310 was a button for that.
It’s probably just automatic. Like the 110 and 120 are.
@HammoTechReviews Yeah, I noticed, but you have to disconnect your phone from the speaker to play from the USB source. With the 310, it wasn't a problem.
@@justrelaxyouremind I’ve only ever personally used aux or Bluetooth with them. And I find it swaps very efficiently, when music is playing from either the aux or Bluetooth source

Pc Richards has them already you can order from them. The release date officially is 4/21/24 in amaerica. I just checked it’s out now on jbl website.

I am going to buy my first partybox. There is an offer in my country on jbl. Shall I buy the 110 for 227 euros or the 120 for 326 euros?
If the price difference is that big, then probably worth saving the money and getting the 110

You are not able to use the “Aura connect” between them but you can connect them through daisy chain.

depends on how u use your speaker. I bought a 390 eur 120 over 230 eur 110 just because of removable battery.

Не бери для квартиры ни тот ни другой . Бумбокс 3 вай фай для квартиры . Да и для шашлыков отлично . Есть для дома то лучше пати бокс 110 , звук более сбалансированнее , 120 слишком резкая и верхнего баса нет . Для моих ушей ад. Да и все эти пати боксы для рэп поп музыки . Для рока бумбокс 3 вай фай и через качественное приложение по типу Deezer и именно через вай фай . Имею и бум 3 вай фай и патик 120 . Патик думаю продать звук так себе , но подсветка топ .

That would be a silly upgrade. If you upgrade do the 300 series
Depends what you use it for. A lot of people have no need for a louder speaker, they just want upgraded AI features and software.
@@HammoTechReviews To each their own. I don't think the difference between the two is worth the upgrade. For me when I upgrade I wouldn't do something nearly identical. I would upgrade to 300 series, but that doesn't mean I have to crank 300 series volume all the way up either. It just gives me best if both worlds and more versatility moving forward. So you would have a 110 and a 120 or try to sell your 110 at a used price just to get the 120? Either way an upgrade should be 300 series. If you didn't already own a 110, then I'd say sure buy a 120.
listening this from hifi edifier... yup 120 has richer bass... not sure if i would say toned down highs... but the bass is actually wider.
You missed a hudge benefit of the 120s battery.
When flying, you can't put lithium batteries in checked luggage. Now if you want to bring the 120 to a vacation house, or college, you can take the battery out and put it in your carryon, then check into baggage the speaker.
It's not going to be a big thing for most people, but it's definitely a plus for anyone who wants to travel with this speaker.

Better bass in the new one for sure, deeper and not so hollow sounding. Why they didn't go for the big battery in the 120 is beyond me, just another corporate greed decision. The most portable one gets the lowest battery life which makes no sense at all except if you're handling economics at JBL and want to milk the last penny out of customers. No convenience, not environmentally friendly and a hassle, thank you JBL for being annoying.
Agree. However there is one benefit to that. When 120`s battery degrades it will be 2x cheaper to replace in comparison to 320`s battery which is exactly 2x times bigger and 2x times more expensive.

I compared the two models side by side: the 110 has a noticeably better sound.

their base equalizer settings are pretty different. Thats why maybe. Play with the EQ and there will be very little difference.
Na for me ITS Not worth it i will Stick with my 110 because of the Position of the tweeters and i dont heare that much diffrence in Sound
And the logo is cooler. Legit JBL badge.

I will never understand speaker audio quality reviews on RUclips. They both sound exactly like the device you watch it through.
You should still be able to hear a difference. But to some extend you are correct, that’s why the opinion of the reviewer is what people watch for 😄
Use headphones you can clearly tell a difference
@@doubleosevenOfficial You missed the point. Every sound sample ever sounds exactly like thing you’re listening to them on. Your device doesn’t magically change.
this is why it is a comparison, not a standalone review of one speaker. While u can never tell the real acustical capabilities via youtube, u can hear the DIFFERENCE among two or more devices.

For me 120 has weak mids and sounds thin. Only deep bass and highs.
