Thanks for the cool find Michael. It’s hard to think of them tearing down an undamaged house that’s only 30 years old. It looked perfectly fine the way it was. I swear I will never understand people. My house was built in 1915 and although it has been renovated it still has quite a bit of the original home. I don’t think anyone would propose tearing it down to put up a more modern place. Sad really.
What a beautiful house. I guess at 62 years old, unless I win a million dollar lottery ..I'll never know what it's like to have lots of money 💰. Thanks for the tour.
Such an utter shame that this house is going to be torn down. I finally find my dream home on the ocean. Thank you so much for saving footage of such a remarkable house.
So sad what a beautiful home it was. I loved that view. All the houses in Aussie seem so open and airy to me but are a beautiful place to live. I have never gone out of the USA. I would love to see the world, although the world is in such a mess. Thanks for sharing Love it! Love it!
What a beautiful home I love every thing about it and the view is great. Thank you Michael for giving Paul a heads-up. Sad that this will be demolished.
It was so quirky-cool wasn’t it? I love the view from the kitchen, the ceiling had so many interesting angles. And the view out every window was simply dreamy. I hope they put a cool home up in its place. It looks like it was a good house. Not damaged or falling apart. Thanks Michael for the heads up so we could get this tour. We appreciate it!! Take care you two!!
What an absolutely gorgeous home that was.....if it was mine, I would never leave, no matter what someone offered me!! Good spotting Michael and as always great documenting this beautiful find.
What a great find Michael, I'm sure it made your walk even more enjoyable..😊 It's aged a bit being by the sea, but what a beautiful home she was. The Coral Green kitchen and trim, Jarrah timber flooring and that stunning view each day, what a delightful Hamptons build for it's era. With what is typically replacing these older home's along the beach suburbs I do fear for what is in store on the other side of the demolition. But another great video, so thanks again for sharing.
What a beautiful home. Who knows why the owner gave it up. We do not know what life has in store for us. Thank you for this tour and the realtor pics. 👍
Awesome thanks for that dear!! ha ha!! Was there only on Friday for work, if I weren't in my high heels, I would have gone in!! I looked like i could have been the owner!!! ha ha A beach side trollop!!
Glad Michael took that walk and spotted it before it was a goner. The refrigerator and dishwasher in the real estate photos were SMEG, a spendy brand here in the U.S. If I had a home like that with an ocean view I’d not be in a hurry to move, but who knows why or what happened that the owners left . Thanks again for documenting it 👍🏻💖
Wow! Hard to imagine why on earth this one needs to be torn down. I'd give my eye teeth to live in it, just as it was before the dismantling began. So sad.
Very nice find. Looks like a nice area as well. Sad to see it like that. The realestate pics were phenomenal , alittle touch of Paradise. Thanks to you & Michael.
What a beautiful home, what a shame it's being demolished.I like the colour of the kichen and the real estate photos are awesome. Thanks for another great Video. Greetings from Germany.
When I lived off an ocean inlet, all I got was fog in the winter, and the aroma of the harbor in the summer. This place has a three million dollar view. What ever they build there, it will have a few acres of glass to capitalize. I could Happily stare at that for years. Cheers.
Every time I view one of your videos I think, "I wld LOVE to live in that house!" THIS time a really mean it! That beachfront house is gorgeous! I wld buy it even with all the boards ripped out! Wow!! Gorgeous!!! ❤❤
Urbex Indigo thanks my friend for sharing this video with me about Abandoned- Huge beach front home with pool. Very unique and quirky! i really enjoyed watch this video this home was very nice it is to bad to see it go. i am fro the U.S.A and i always will show support to your channel and God Bless and i can't wait to see your next video.
I think the tongue and groove like this, we would call cape cod style. And thanks Michael for the heads up. Though I would say I'm a little envious of the beach walk. Lol, beautiful thanks guys.
This gorgeous beach house was a keeper and should have been passed down to the next generations. A beauty! Who knows what happened... I loved the soft or vibrant sea colours inside the house: aqua, turquoise... just perfect on a beach (and also my favourite colours :) especially paired with white and sand beige). Thank you for this very special visit!
What a treat of a house 👍much imagination involved in designing and building this lovely house Also loved the turquoise or is it pistachio kitchen ! Typical 90s colour Beachfront locale too ! I would have kept it the way it is but money talks
Thata would actually be my dream home, especially the upstairs with those lovely bedrooms and the weatherboard walls. Absolutely love the turquoise kitchen and tall lounge ceilings, it’s so airy! The ceiling fans are cool. They will no doubt replace with with some POS hateful modern box. It’s criminal. Great tour fella
Pool/bbq area out back, beautiful beach out front... God I love this house ❤ This would be a dream home for me - especially as my husband and our 2 teenage boys love the coast and fresh air in general. I presume this is a prime area in Adelaide? If so, you know as well as I do that once this house is demolished, modern "luxury units" (aka cardboard shoe boxes) are going to go up in its place - with ridiculous market prices to boot. I do wonder Paul, with how frequently you upload new videos of houses up for demolition, how different Adelaide will look in 10 years time, and probably not for the better (if current trends in 'modern units' are anything to go by!). Thanks as always for another lovely upload 😊
Oh my, what a spectacular spot this house is in. Such a waste to tear down something that is perfectly fine. That board and batten is very common in very old homes in the South here in the U.S. In the wealthier old homes they would wallpaper over it but the poorer families just left it. Now it is coveted by old home enthusiasts. If you ever want to come explore the South we would happily host you. Thank you for this explore. Waving from Maine (and in 9 days I will be waving from Georgia). Edit: Waving hello to Michael for this find.)
I like this house. The color in kitchen is pretty and that carpet was pretty. Shame it's to be torn down. Thanks to Michael for finding this very nice lovely home.
I hope much of the interior was salvaged (such as those wood floors, cabinets, sinks etc.) before this was taken down. Not sure where this is, tsunami danger? Interesting to see how fairly recent homes date so quickly. Thanks for the look around.
Hello Paul and Michael Michael a great find really enjoy that tour Paul a very nice place with the ocean out there makes it even sweeter thank you both again love from upstate New York
What a nice home Paul this exploration was awesome mate, it’s definitely a gem. Loved this bathroom definitely quirky and If I was there I would of jumped in that nice pool thanks for the walk around Paul cheers
What a gorgeous home! I love how they utilized all the space they could. I have to admit, the bathroom/laundry with outside access was a tad strange. Pretty sure they're just going to tear it down & build something ugly, especially on such a prime piece of real estate...... Loved the "boat" kite. ☺️
That's just a laundry with its side door for hanging clothes outside, they added a clean-up station (shower and toilet) for easy after beach clean-up, so sand and dirt don't get traipsed though the house.
🌟Hi Paul, absolutely love it and the view of the beach beautiful love the ocean 🌊 that would be a perfect home I wouldn’t give it up for anything if it was mine. Love the pool. Thank you so much again 😊❤️🌟x
Thanks Michael for letting Paul know about this place. It was a nice house and very nice view. Is it to hard for the a lot of people to get a house in your area. I know it depends on the area and the size. Have a lot of people been priced out. Have a good week, both of you.
pretty big house Paul along the beach side and a very unusual designed looking house lots of windows which brightened the inside of the house up but wonder what they have instore to replace what's been left behind awesome real estate pictures Paul and hey on Ya Michael for finding this exploration thanks for another good video, Paul and of course your friend Michael.
Oh my - really breath taking $$$ million / $$$ billion dollar views there I can see!!! 💜 It really was a beautifully decorated home when it was sold in 2018 & was a place others called Home. I do hope the owners (of all proposed demolitions) recycle / sell or giveaway things that can be re-purposed or for someone else's renovation project 🧡. It was quite eye catching to see the lovely room with the guitar in the bedroom of the photos you found on-line when it was sold and to now see an abandoned guitar-hero in the garage - so ironic and symbolic really. Wonder why the beautiful sailing boat model was on the kitchen cupboard & beach cricket bats and life jackets in the garage - seems a 'presence' is still apparent somehow perhaps? A little mystery all round here. I often wonder, being an Aussie myself, if Superannuation Funds invest our monies in these type of expensive real estate projects / developments - who knows. I guess in time the council's website for development applications for this site - may reveal a little of the impending mystery for this site. Thank you for sharing Guys - loving your stuff 💛 (We had a house near us that was never lived in for over 35 years - you couldn't even see it - it had ivy and overgrowth covering it inside and out - it was so spooky - a wealthy Dr owned it and still does and is building townhouses on it now) - wish I filmed it LOL.
HI urbex indigo love the house your taking a walk through and being near the beautiful beach you think to yourself why would these people have a swimming pool if it is not that far to walk across to the beach I would love a home like that its amazing how people have more money than brains so to speak ,but it is a shame that it is getting knocked down
What an interesting house. They really must have loved the color teal. Thanks Michael for such a great find. Paul and Michael you make a great team! Stay well and safe. Chris and Dave
Thank you Michael- I love this one!!! Again, the trees....... This home is gorgeous, I don't see why the developers had to have the lot. It isn't even that large. I especially love the attic room. The pool, I could do without, I would rather have grass or a chicken coop, but, that's me, the floors are gorgeous. Will they save as much as they can in this house? The garage is pretty cool, as well, a lot of space. Thank you guys for jumping on this. Seems like your town is changing so fast you won't recognize it if you go on vacation by the time you get back. I know you don't celebrate it, but from the US- Happy Thaksgiving-SDK
A nice home here looking old school. With a great view followed by a big price tag. How's that view. It's in a very nice area. Cheers for sharing :) MM
Loved the quirkiness and that aqua colour ..wow the pics at the end wow that was a loved beautiful home, shame it's not bk to what it was with a bit of wrk ,they don't make them like this any more such a shame #Perth wa
Wow! What an awesome home. I love the beach colours - the aqua marine kitchen and also on the bathroom cabinet and door. Also the matching tiles on the downstairs bathroom and pool. Although a lovely home, I can see why it's under development. Maybe rather than 5 bedrooms, or could be 4 and larger bedrooms (eg the main bedroom). Also the pool is hard to maintain if not in use (would it be necessary when the beach is just Infront of you?). Although a lot of storage space, is some of it inconvenient - eg space next to the main bedroom is very tight. I would like to see what it turns out after redevelopment.
I don't know about the average time a home owner will spend in a newer home in Australia, but here in the U.S. a newer home that is only 20 to 40 years old the average home owner only lives there about 5 years. Given that your house that you went thru was due to be demolished soon it would have had about 3 owners before someone liked the view and had a vision of what they wanted to build. Also given that the house was only about 35 years old your city counsel probably had no problem with a demolition request because a newer and possibly larger house would generate a greater tax revenue for the new owner. Nice house and great location, demolition guys didn't waste any time opening the walls to see how much work it would take to bring down the structure. It also looks like they don't plan to salvage anything. Most likely will not save or reuse the pool, so that house the garage and pool demo will take about two to three days to bulldose.
