Nice! Yea I'm loving it so far. I actually took it back to the dealer for what I think is a clutch issue. Cold, not running, if you put it in gear and pull in the clutch, it will not move. Discovered this trying to move it around the garage. Sounds like a clutch basket issue. I'm supposed to go get it possibly today
Hey dude, I have the 23 MT07 in Matte Raven Black with a ton of mods. I do use the Quadlock pro mount and all I had to do to make it work was use one of the spacers that was slightly too big and use a bit of half inch wide heat shrink tubing from my RC electronics bench. I literally just wrapped the bar once or twice with the heatshrink and slid the mount over it and tightened it up. There's next to zero room to move it around but with the little angle/pivot piece they sell it works perfect, holds my 14 promax just fine, never moves. I also went with the TST integrated rear light, TST fender delete w/ adjustable high mount. TST Mech-GTR front signals. Did the Womet-Tech front fork & rear axle sliders, EVOS engine sliders and case slider. Just ordered the Puig Front spoiler, super stoked for that one. I have the Yamaha Quickshifter, just haven't installed it yet. I've heard that it's a bit jumpy and not as smooth in lower RPMs but feels much better in higher rev range. Nice ride man, have fun.
Ill prolly do the new quad lock reservoir mount. The OEM quick shifter is pretty smooth. Smoother than your Generation 1's, but any quick shifter can be jumpy if you're trying to use it at an RPM it doesn't like. Other things can affect it too, like chain tension, or if the rod isn't set correctly. I find it to work really well. Thanks for the comment!
nice mods.....I went w/ TST angel eyes/halo for my front blinkers....didn't want the tail tidy, & didn't think the integrated tail light was safe...was afraid someone wouldn't see it & rear end me.....1st day switched to a 950,oo Corbin seat & sissy bar...
Can‘t wait to drive mine. My Mt 07 is already in the garage but unfortunately I have to wait until May 16 because here in Germany I need to have my A1 license 2 years to take the promotion exam. I have my exam on May 6. I hope I pass it, but I'm not really worried.

@@RotorRidesNC I’m going to try a sheepskin. Gel pad didn’t make much improvement. Saddles were much better in the past. Now they’re designed for appearance.
nice video RotorRider....& i like it that you have an MT07 for your g/f....I own a Blue 2022 MT07 & i suggest changing the front pumpkin turn signals for TST angel eyes/halo.....only like 85.oo & it's well worth it...i picked the Blue running lights to match my bike....also recommend the mid size Puig windscreen....it's helps block a bit of wind & it looks Great..!
I bought it for the "GF" lol... but I also got it for me. I have the TST Mech-GTR with hyper white on my 2023 MT10. I will probably put the same ones on the 07 at some point. I dont mind the look of the front signals, but I hate having to put them back in after they fall out. Windscreen is the next mod. I already did the TST undertail, with low mount plate and tag light. I've been looking at the new suzuki 8s/8r as my next bike. The bi-directional quick shifter on that bike is really appealing. High revving parallel twins are lots of fun.
Yea we looked at those too. They're nice bikes. I just didn't find in our case that the Suzuki was worth the money. We got the 07 for $7,700, and the best price they would do on the Suzuki was $9,100 and that was with a rebate. OEM Yamaha quick shifter works like a charm for under $200, only missing auto blip down. I've got a 2023 MT10 if I need to scare myself, so the power difference between the 2 wasn't a factor either
It's definelty a ton of fun. My other bike is a 2023 MT10 modded out and dyno tuned. The power is a handful, and just the sheer size and weight too. I'll probably spend more time on the 07 this summer tbh. 10 I'll save for mountain runs
Hi! Its nice to see someone from mt10 saying an mt07 is a good bike, ive recently bought a 2023 mt07 in december brand new and its my first bike and my first ever bike experience,so far so good! What is some of the bigger differences between mt10 and 07 in your opinion? Because i def enjoy the 07 so far and it being my first bike but id also love to get an mt10 in a year and a half or two once i get more experience on the 07,thanks in advance and ride safe🤙
My MT10 is my pride and joy. But it's a big bike, both size and weight. Every time I get on it, it reminds me just how absurd of a bike it is. It's alot of fun, but it can be a stressful fun if that makes sense. I wouldn't look past the MT09. The new generation 2024's, especially the SP, would be the route I would go if I was wanting to upgrade. The CP3 has plenty of power, and it's still somewhat light and nimble. Now that it gets the 6 axis IMU, it has all the electronics of the 10
@@RotorRidesNC yeah everyone keeps saying how mt07 is the most fun but if u want more power to def go with the mt09 cuz it gives enough to the point u dont need an mt10,but it looks so good😔🤣

Depends. Younger person probably not. If you're reserved, and patient, while it's still alot of bike, it can been a good first bike with some room to grow.
I have this identical bike. Same year, same colour. Love it !

I wish they made an SP version. It wouldn't even need to have Ohlins, just a fully adjustable set of KYB's would be amazing
