TP-Link seems too be great so far I bought an AX3000 AX55 Archer Router from Amazon, I was having issues not understanding the difference between a Modem and a Router, lol, My ISP is Sky and actually sent an Engineer out to get a TP-Link Router I bought working, lol, That got to be embarrassing for Sky Engineer to have to use Outdated tech, The Sky modems are terrible Sim racing have been a mixed bag with online racing, Until I managed to get this AX3000 router linked with the Sky modem, The TP-Link router have already improved my online Sim racing, Latency issues between the steering wheel on my Rig to the steering wheel on AMS 2, There is none now, In fact I think the TP-Link router is making me a faster Sim racer, Which bring me on to the Modem, I am looking at the AC2100 modem/router, As It needs to be DSL of some sort, My flat don't allow for fiber, Sky engineer said if you send the TP-Link Router back coz it won't do anything for you, A bare face lie, Coz the TP-Link Router have improved everything, Even my CCTV camera's on the 2.4ghz is loading instant, No waiting for the camera to load anymore, Which tells me that the Sky modems is out dated by a long way, I would even say 2018-2020 tech, But yeah Coz I don't get a fiber package they don't offer Wi-Fi-6, I have to ring up and see if I can get one, lol, I am learning that with modems and routers that companies that Sky, BT ect use cheaper modems to cut cost, It sure feels like that, When I gets a different router and now my internet is stable, No wi-fi drops, So now I needs a TP-Link modem, Will the TP-Link AC2100 modem/router link up with the AX3000 AX55 router, As say like the perfect match lol, TP-Link support staff is brilliant by the way, I love the fact that you can speak to a human being if you get any probs, All be in in chat, But at least it is a person, Who helped me do over the chat do something that a Sky Engineer never knew, But now I feel the engineer did know, I could link the Sky modem with the TP-Link AX3000 as a Gateway, Allowing the TP-Link Router to be used like the modem, But better, lol, Honestly anyone getting issues with a Sky modem, Do what I done, Grab the AX3000 AX55 Archer Router as it is a bad ass Router by the way, And also on offer at the moment on Amazon, You can even get it and pay over 5 months, Brilliant that is, With Amazon, Paying over 5 months, Every company should do that, Paying over 5 or 6 payments is a lot easier than paying over 3 payment, I want a Thrust Master Steering wheel, I think I can get it purely coz I can pay over the 5 months, I said to the support staff that TP-Link should create a Modem that works or is optimized for Steam, And optimized for the Quest VR headsets, To run with Virtual Desktop, Wireless, That blows my mind how you can play your PCVR games while you ain't even at home, And how companies can now use a VR headset as the Laptop, Using apps like Virtual Desktop, If you got a Quest and not got Virtual Desktop then, you should get Virtual Desktop, Even get it for Steam as well as the Quest store, Virtual Desktop knocks spots off Steam VR for me, lol..... But yeah is it worth my while getting the TP-Link AC2100 modem/router to link with the TP-Link AX55 Archer Router, Will it improve the internet speeds coming out, I am on a DSL line see, I can only get 100mbps through the line anyways, I think so is it worth my while getting a TP-Link AC2100 modem, Can someone let me know soon as please, lol, If it will improve my online Sim Racing, Then yeah I will get the AC2100 modem, Sim racing is a tool for the mental health I suffer from see, While I am Sim Racing in the evenings, I can stay away from pills, Plus Since I have Sim Raced in VR, I have not had any nasty violent dreams, I can't play shoot em games because violence triggers CPTSD symptoms, Sim Racing is great fun in VR anyways, Even on a Quest 2 and a 12gb 3060 GPU and i5 12600k CPU, With 32gb Ram, AMS 2 on medium to High settings and the VR is off the hook.... Yeah the TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer Router is fantastic, I can only imagine what the AX54000 and higher is like, The Wi-Fi-7 Router looks fantastic as well, Yeah I find TP-Link actually Quality Routers....
Hi, I only use sky broadband from a sky modem.. I now have a cable with RJ11 to RJ45 connectors - can I still do this set up the same way and will the tplink Ax50 act as my main router replacing the sky Q router ?
The music on this video is completely unnecessary and is a distraction from being able to hear the verbal instructions!
