What videos do you guys wanna see in Japan?! I’m thinking maybe a Camera thrift episode 👀
You easily spend the whole trip in Japan just on thrift stores 😆
Shinjuku and Akihabara is the place to go! Copped my F2 from there man. Safe travels!
@@rayrayg9I’m already expecting to spend at least a whole day 😂
@@amroni_thank you!!
Not just thrift stores but specifically small used camera shops.
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
En el momento en que vi el bolso kislux , supe que tenía que tenerlo.
Definitely camera thrifting and shopping!
Next time you’re out in Asia, should try to make a stop over here to Taiwan.
the placement of the camera is soooo on point that we can also see his reflection in the round mirror on the right wall, king for a reason
? placement ? there is an actual human working the b camera throughout this entire video lol its not on a tripod...
@@henlolneh dude i know there’s another cameraman working how else is the camera gonna move in and out like it is in the video I meant the placement BY the cameraman
Man! Visiting Japan definitely on my bucket list. Great video brotha 🤙🏽🇵🇭
Appreciate you brotha!!
canon mc, love it too
BTW locals in Japan are starting to get quite irritated by people using those 360 cameras on your chest, so be careful where you use it :)
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Definitely the XA. Thrifting videos are always interesting wherever they are based.
It was great running into you in New York fam! 🤘🏽
Be sure to visit Hard Off! Have a safe trip
I’ve travel with a GoPro 7 and a Sony a5100 and a Canon camera and I feel it still wasn’t enough! You are definitely not extra!😅
Wait you said you don’t want to shoot digital ah the Sony F3 digital?
Great video and really nice gear. But your chain scratching on your mic triggered me so hard 😂
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
you should get a Tri-Charge for your battery! and it's so much more!
Personally I prefer point and shoots for quick in the moment captures, more fun and less perfection, so I would say the MC if thats what your going for. If you're still wanting to use it for work though then go with the XA
I was literally just looking into an Olympus XA today…
Xa all the way! Also, bring all the film you can. Way more expensive there.
Another great one mate! ✌
About the airport x-ray thing though; I also have a "DO NOT X-RAY" film pouch very similar to the one you showed here, but so far - at least for me - it has not been enough. Every time (throughout Europe) they have said that they have to scan all film below ASA 1600... which is complete BS of course, because why would you be more likely to smuggle drugs or explosives in slower film canisters and not faster ones? But anyway, perhaps depending on where you are in the world, those bastards will happily ruin your photos without thinking twice. ☠ I mean, sure, they're doing their job, but still... 😁 Cheers
Don’t forget to pack some wall outlet adaptors for Japan so you can charge your portable chargers.
I would bring the Canon if I were you. For one you have a flash which is always useful for Shibuya nights. The second reason is the point and shoot makes it easier to just make in the moment photos since that’s the reason you would leave your Leica behind.
Tbh you should bring all the film that you can. Film in Japan is expensive.
Have fun out there dude 🤙🏽
Yoooooo thanks Marcus!! I will bring as much film as possible then.
Regarding power banks, China only allows a maximum of 10,000mAh
Take the XA!!!!
I know scheduling can get very tight in japan trips...but I highly recommend visiting the more rural / countryside parts like Gunma. If not this trip, maybe the next. Highly recommend Hokkaido as well!
My vote goes to the canon!
pack lot more kodak film before you come to Japan, the price of kodak film stock are insane right now
I'd take the Canon MC
I’m thinking of picking up a leica m3 from ebay and the seller is in japan. does japan really have camera stores that sell leicas on the low low??
Wait… so what lead to your first 28mm Ultron breaking?
Filter got stuck ,used a little too much force and the whole front element came off!
10:34 might wanna correct the price you spoke here ✌
Great vid. Good travel set up - those Ankers look very cool. Take both P+S film cameras. Have a great trip
I hear film rolls are more expensive to buy in Japan
Interesting 🤔 I would’ve thought it would be cheaper
@KingJvpes if I'm not mistaken, they're manufactured outside of Japan and then have to be imported back in which is what raises the cost for domestic japanese pricing
bang bang minolta gang
take the Olympus
Eye-oh Greer…
Film is way expensive in Japan
Those Anker power banks look mad enticing with the sleek design and affordable price. I wish I didn't already own too many powerbanks 😅
Not to instigate but - They’ve saved me so many times while out on whole day shoots. Super convenient haha
@@KingJvpes I've nothing but good experience with Anker so I'm still considering it 🙌
The Ankers cause fires. Go ahead and Google it. Would stay far away.
The Olympus is like having a baby Leica if you want to have a spare but mantain the feel (granted you want to use 35mm instead of 28, and i'd do that at night too). If the aim is to get more spontaneous , really that canon would be the choice for me.
Good insight. Now I’m leaning towards the canon
It's just another way of saying "ghetto" for poor people wearing imitations. BUTTTTT It's a smart investment when rich people do it *luxrul*
Nice Anker ad bro
0:05 You've unlocked unlimited macro focussing mode
LOL
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable luxrul bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
Take the Olympus
Get a tattoo in Japan
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
