Again and again I'm returning to this video. I like everything about it: the explanations, how the viewer can follow your drawing because of the graphics on the left side, the simplicity of the technique to get a quite accurate line drawing. I. Just. Love. It.

It's fascinating to watch your visual abstraction method in action. Seeing the subtly of the form emerge from a series of straight lines always amazes me. My biggest mistake is rushing too much and not doing enough checking. This is a great tutorial encapsulating the method. Thanks Chris 👍
Hi Robert, arguably the biggest mistake students make is rushing to get to the end, forgetting it is everything in the middle which is the most important part! Whilst the method of enveloping isnt always easy, it does force you to think through every step. Happy drawing!
