Did you pre-spray at all? Or just had the rugs wet ? How much would you recommend spraying pre-spray?

Well, that settles it. No way I'm getting a Guinea Pig. For that matter, I'm not getting any animals in my house ever again. Been there, done that, and no more. It always amazes me just how much of costly damage pets can do to a home. Dogs IMHO take the lead by a thousand country miles though in my 36 years of cleaning homes all over my area. I had one a couple years ago where Great Danes were kept in the house and easily did over 20 thousand dollars of permanent damage. One 17,000-dollar wool rug was totally destroyed way to save it. Btw, the ONLY rugs to have serious and permanent damage were all expensive wool rugs. They pretty much left some polypropylene rugs they had alone and gravitated to all the wool rugs BIG TIME. It was one of the most unbelievable situations I've ever seen in over 36 years of cleaning.

Is a crb safe to agitate wool?

Yes with a soft brush. Wool should not be allowed to get extremely soiled. The things you have to do to get it clean again jeopardizes the integrity of the wool. Other options are to clean safe, but never get it clean. Encourage a fast dry time. Add a fan if possible.

I create all of my own solutions. This was plant based tide and a shot of peroxide.
