In the 90s, my best friend in high school was Greek and she would go visit her family there every summer. One year she brought me back a gift of a small container of Christian Dior's Poison in a vasiline like substance. It was a small container but boy was that fragrance potent!
Thank you for the ketchup hack. Now I got ketchup all over the place because I only wanted a little on my hot dog and it kept squirting. Dumb heck and it's not the right way. It's a alternative. I hate when people say you're doing it wrong. The patent doesn't say to do that. And one of the originals were a bottle. So not pouring catch up the wrong way. It's a different way. The old way was to shake it out. Just saying LOL it's how you say it
Is Vaseline okay for us to use? I’ve read where it’s not good for our bodies? I do like the dryer sheet hack for sure, I will definitely try that one!!
You can also use a butter knife to open jar lids easily - just slide it up between the lid & jar until the vacuum seal pops & the lid will twist off easily. But I’ll look out for the notch
I don't like how it ruins the whole container of petroleum jelly (for other uses), I wouldn't like how the jar Is reseals, The issue with squeezing the ketchup from the side is it becomes bloated and when you close it the vinegar we'll expand the container. Just buff the stainless steel with anything else!
Ive been doing the vaseline trick for years but with the small tin and using cinnamon leaf oil ,it works as a lip plumper and also smells nice on body in the summer .
Dill pickle juice to clean your griddles. My dad swore by it. I shared it with a grill cook at a restaurant. He tried and never used the degreaser again.

Why put a skin irritant into skin moisturizer that defeats the whole point of wearing Vaseline unless u only care about the look and not actually moisturizing ur skin smh
Vaseline itself only seals in moisture (but some Vaselines have added moisturisers). This person was mixing cologne with Vaseline to seal it for it to last longer, although IDK if that will actually work, would have to try but I can't be asked to waste a whole thing of vaseline.

I would use almond oil or coconut oil to mux with my perfume. Safer and lasts longer. I do this !

I did the Vaseline . I put the Vaseline in an eye contact container and it's compact and do not take space on your purse or pant pocket

I would always give the lid of a jar a tap on the side on my counter, and boom, it opens 😊
i pry up lids on any jar with a butter knife or mini screwdriver.

Run it under hot water for a few seconds, that also works
I tried hot water, but tapping it on the bench is much faster and doesn't waste any water. Some taps take longer to get hot water running
I turn the jar upside down and slap the bottom of the jar. On the rare occasion that fails, I use a rubber glove.

Tap the jar lid 4 times on each corner of the top with a spoon, it'll release the AIR and you'll hear it POP, works like a charm

Tap the jar at the bottom with the palm of your hand. That breaks the vacuum. Opens easily.
For difficult to open cans, another method can simply just be to apply pressure to the sides of the lid with the heels of your palms.

Do you have to put the Vaseline back in the fridge? I imagine the perfume smell would stick to the fridge hard
if it is winter time and below freezing temperatures, you could put it outside, but you have to put it somewhere cold so it gets thick again.
