Hey wanted to ask a few questions- First of all really great vids i watched all the ffdp ones. Ive been listening to ffdp since a very long time and have wanted to learn playing the guitar for those types of songs. are there different types of electric guitars for different genres and if yes what does ffdp fall into. And also if you know any beginner friendly youtube channels to learn more.Thank you
HI! Thank you so much! Yes, there are "different" guitars for different musical genres. If you want to play FFDP songs I recommend a Rock/Metal oriented guitar, loaded with aggressive humbucking pickups. For the rhythm part I recommend a baritone scale, excellent for playing with low tunings. I recommend Jon Bjork's channel, he is an excellent teacher, especially for technique ✌🏻
What a freaking killer solo! Can’t get enough of Jason’s leads lately myself…. Thanks for all your guidance on these by the way
Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Thanks👍will definitely check that out@@MrDaveRinaldi
Do you run a harmonizer for these lead tones?
No, just some Delay and a subtle Chorus Fx. The Harmony you hear came from the original track
@@MrDaveRinaldi Gotcha thanks!
