My 7E Golden Strawberry Clear: • 7E Golden Strawberry
I didn't make the golden berry clear public because it was less exciting, and because there is little difference between beating the 3rd screen of 7E and getting the 7E golden berry; two relatively easy screens that make up about 5% of the whole stage, and come just before the actual thing, basically.
This took me 14 hours total to do. Only one other person did this before me.
It was extremely testing as I literally just played the same thing over and over again with no hope of success for about 12 hours, in order to actually become good enough to finally beat it.
I did not use screen teleportation or assist mode to practice; I in fact did not practice individual segments at all, or study the previous clear, or receive practically any help whatsoever (except for that one thing in 1000M section thx lenny) I just threw myself at this repeatedly from the intended spawn point, very slowly but surely learning, mastering, and coming up with strats for the level completely on my own.
Very rewarding.
That being said, probably don't go for this, you're in for a pretty miserable time. c;

So let me get this straight: THIS precise of a level, and you get no checkpoints?

at first, when I was watching this I was like, "yeah I could do that, it would take a while but I could" the further I watched the less hope I had until finally I realized it would take me longer then I will live to complete that E-side

Chapter 9 is cool af and it's honestly in no way harder than chapter 7 c-side. Infact there's like only screens that are hard af the others are pretty doable even by a casual like me.

@@mohamedaminekhadhraoui6417 hmm i wouldnt know because if i try again id be using muscle memory instead of restarting from scratch. But I remember that it took me 1/5 of the total time I spent on ch. 9 which is around 6~8 hours? I forgot

That’s just my file time for debug mode, as this chapter was only accessible through debug mode when I did it. It took around 14 hours (7 hours for two days in a row) in actuality, that being with no practice of any sections individually, only attempting from the intended single spawn point.

did you learn a cycle for 1500m or did you just wing it every time? I've gotten there about 10 times but it just feels like rng
I had a consistent cycle and strategy for going about it, it’s not perfect but it allows for some variance and is lenient enough. It’s very hard to get such a thing though because the dust bunnies are on a global timer given that this is all one screen; however I did it so many times and eventually got there at a consistent point every time. I did learn some things about the nature of the patterns though through seeing it so much, and also having to try and save runs that made it there at an off-timing.
@@Eenox oh alright, thanks for the info. what would you average your success rate of 1500m was by the time you beat the level? I can get there about 2/5 attempts it's just the platform with the 4 dust bunnies just gets me every time :(

How do you access the E-Sides? I went into the d-sides pack with debug mode but i couldn't find anything related to e-sides
ok. this is something ive been doing research on for a while now but nowhere on the internet does it give me any answers. How many sides are there in celest? i know there are at least up too c in the base game and i know lots of people talk about the d side but i dont know if thats a mod or what or how to get it

and 7E & 8E are bonuses as a part of the d-side pack. there are some other random chapters that have custom e-sides made by other map makers, also found on game banana as are 99% of celeste custom maps

I will say though, I firmly believe anyone Could do this. However, it is a matter of do you have the patience and passion/desire to not only complete this challenge with 0 savestate practice, but to build up the general platformer skill and consistency in order to complete such a challenge in a reasonable amount of time. Not to make it sound like accomplishing such tasks is not noteworthy or difficult though, it requires an incredible amount of determination, willingness to improve, and honestly just work to get there. All that being said I still believe anyone is capable of it if the passion was stirred in them.
