I read and watched many reviews on both. And some very minor differences The MSI came out a tiny bit better. I'm sure I would have been happy with either one both of whom are great value for the money I just bought the MSI at Best Buy black Friday (early) sale. Two minor things that swayed me to was I liked red backlight keyboard and was impressed with the internal cooling set-up! Their extended warranty/ Tech Support price was a little Suprise but I got it, since if I want some minor upgrades Labor is free.
But overall the nitro 5 is better in almost all specs and circumstances. I have both of these laptops and let me tell you the MSI reach 90+ C° in the CPU and 84+C° In the GPU. That's why i prefer the Nitro 5, also the construction is better in the nitro 5 because de MSI bends so easy. One more thing there's a way to unlock the GPU on the MSI, but i don't recommend that coz the brand limits the power for a good reason: Temperatures, they go insane after you unlock the power and reaches more than 93 C°. If you want to be more cooler you can disable the turbo in the CPU , doing that hardly reaches 90's C°. In the MSI. That equals more power efficiency and longer life of your components.
do not buy msi I had it for 2 years and i think the thermal paste gave up on me it over heated i cant login. Never buy i5 intel core Buy ryzen lasts longer. Ryzen proccessors are way better intel sucks
Both laptops are mediocre but hey, buy an external monitor, mouse, keyboard, and boom, you got a neat gaming set up. Better buy the nitro 5 it runs cooler and performs better.
It depends on wattage of gpu-s!!because of that Lenovo laptops are best because their gpu-s have biggest wattage while acer offer with lowest and thst means up to 15% less fps
@@steffan9415 it is same or lower !! Acer save on everything from lower quality parts for cooling to lower wattage of gpu-s but prices are4 again still not so low

Terrible review. A lot of inaccurate information and inconsistencies.
yea he doesn't even have the laptop and this is just a comparison of numbers not depending on the real-world

honestly the acer nitro sounds well on paper but the actual thing isn't as promising/
especially on the screen response time
I have the Acer and I can Say, Screen is not Pretty, Speakers don't Sound great, but in terms of Performance it is a Beast !
with the sound use dts:x ultra to edite the sound and it will be agreat
@@ehabqadora1759 thanks, I ended up sending it back and Got a Lenovo instead for almostbthe same price. A huge Upgrade

Gf 65 is below $1000 or even $900 for most of the time… Lenovo is the best but also super expensive most of the time.
@@budgetadventurer9387 most of time are expensive but when its available it is possible to find pretty good deal from them too
@@Mr11ESSE111 I got the gf65 for $850… it’s kinda hard to beat since I shoot for budget. MSI only is worth it when they have super sale haha.

On this test maybe the Nitro is better but in the new 12 gen Katana we might see different results
