Touring Monitors

Monitor engineers! Keeping your monitor rig footprint small is a good idea when touring - but having your entire monitor system in a small rack and suitcase is a whole new level of small. Arie van der Poel has got touring his monitor rig down to a fine art - small is good in touring world - it saves a lot on transport and gives the monitor engineer a high level of autonomy, not having to rely on the local rig. It's a great system for sure, I have design a similar system but I use 3 x Digital SD stage box's for my band very compact - I alot of people have never seen a system like this before because of how flexible it is for small gigs to to festival's

Great video! What’s the trick you mentioned when discussing wired IEMs using one cable to feed a stereo monitor mix to the belt back? Presumably you use two Aux sends at the mixer end and split it down in to one cable? Thanks!
