UPDATE: I've already eaten the Southern Fried Chicken Baguette, I wasn't sure how long to heat it for but I cut it in half then 6 minutes in the air fryer and it came out great!
@dunc726 what do u mean he got 2 big for his own boots strange comment u put its you who is asking to private message him steve seems nice and friendly 😊
@@Redsnapper123 I've never reheated them from frozen in the air fryer, I've used the oven because I've done chips at the same time. Greggs sausage rolls, chips and beans is great! 😋
if its jam donuts they can be frozen as tesco donuts are frozen then defrosted in the shop the box they come in even has the bags inside the box when the shop gets them
Hi - supervisor for Greggs. The donuts I've honestly no idea if you can freeze, never tried it myself but always worth a try right? I know the muffins (chocolate muffins and similar) you can freeze as some stores receive their muffins frozen; we receive ours fresh. From an employee perspective we don't recommend freezing anything that's already cooked such as the sausage rolls just for pure safety and so we can't be blamed as a company for making someone ill, but from a personal perspective there's honestly no issue with it. I've done it myself at home, and also reheated them (these ones hadn't been re-freezed). The too good to go bags are supposed to be valued around £8 but don't think many stores stick to this lol. The TGTG bags I prepare average around £15, sometimes more depending how much stuff we have. Hope you enjoy all that!
After your last Greggs too good to go I gave it a try when we stayed over in Tenby on the coast and it was a shocker. Just a few cakes, 2 really soggy tuna rolls and 2 bakes.
Well you can buy frozen cream doughnuts in Tesco and farmfoods so you'll be alright if it don't work out you can put them on the lawn the birds will eat them or maybe even a fox if you have them your way . In fact wallabies have been spotted in the area where I live so they must be breeding but no one seems to know where they have come from
My experience with too good to go for Morrisons and Greg’s The only one I do And they been great all the time as bath is small town but we got 3 Greg’s store and 2 Morrisons store so you are all ways guaranteed a bag full of goodies
What a bargain.. Pretty sure you can freeze the doughnuts, but when they defrost they might be hit and miss if theyre gona be mushy. I was always taught you can feeeze something once its gone through a change in state, you can feeeze raw chicken, then defrost, after its changed state by cooking you can refreeze it. If you get a cooked frozen meal thats been frozen, you cant refreeze it after cooking because its already been cooked and frozen. 👍 Sure im gonna get comments telling me I'm wrong but that was what i was taught 🤣
Refreezing anything will not hurt you,the reason that companies say not to refreeze something that has been frozen is because it effects the quality of the product.Things like fresh fish shouldn’t be frozen in a home freezer as it effects the quality, but when it is professionally frozen the quality remains good, after cooking you can then freeze it without a problem. All bread, and cake type items freeze beautifully.
That is great Steve what you got my husband and son loves Greggs doughnuts 🍩 and sausage rolls their saying they wish they were next door to you 😂oh maybe Rex grabbed your shopping bag off bench to get his share 😂 I think 🤔 there could be someone a bit jealous of your you tube channel in comments well done 👍 Steve. ‼️
Hi Steve that was an amazing bag of goodies for just £2.59 !!! I would check your sugar levels before you tuck into the doughnuts.... Until the next one, have a great weekend...
