I literally had zero help really through my pregnancy. Due to lockdowns and the pandemic, I was just soo extremely lucky to have my mum beside me she made me feel so at ease especially as I got past 30 weeks. She helped with my hospital bag and washing all my babies clothes, she managed to be there for me when I went into hospital for over a week with complications at 33 weeks and at 34 weeks and 3 days she was even there as I had an emergency c section. I can safely say I don't know where I would have been without her 😇💛

I can't believe you have been struggling so hard to get regular maternity doctor visits. You should be being monitored on a regular basis, especially now that you're so close to the due date! I keep getting broody when i watch your videos!🤣 my 2 are 16 & 17, plus hubby got the snip, so i think im past that stage of my life, but i can dream!🤣🤣🤣 TIP for when baby is here, dishes, hoovering, ironing etc. can wait (obviously do the essentials, not suggesting you live in a hovel lol) when baby sleeps, you sleep (if you need it of course) i did this with my 1st & it helped so much. If people mentioned the size of my laundry pile, they got told is it more important that my house looks presentable or that im in a fit state to look after my newborn?! Soon shut them up! Couldn't do it with my 2nd as my daughter was 14months old & when she napped, my son would wake for a feed 😭 hubby was at work so he could only help so much. But my son was an angel & when he was tired he just wanted to be put in his cot, in the dark & be left alone & started sleeping through the night at about 4/5weeks old!!! Changed everything lol!
I do not regret watching this journey with everyone, I am very much excited for the little babi!! I'm sure you guys are gonna be great parents for your little boy 🥰🥰🥰

You should do a belly cast....I wish they had those around when I was pregnant it's amazing to look at when they get bigger to show them where they lived for awhile....oh and taking newborn pics in it is great too!! Can't wait for babi to get here y'all are gonna be such great parents!!
In my last trimester I turned up for the birth plan appointment and was sent to triage due to a high blood pressure, told they would re book me. I then got to week 39 before seeing someone or being checked over to them be sent home because they hadn’t put the appointment on the system even though it was written in my notes. I then eventually was seen at 40+2!!! So gutting because I was treated so amazingly up until that point but as a first time mum not being seen in the last few weeks and not being able to contact anyone was actually quite traumatic for me. Especially as a high risk pregnancy with a baby measuring too small. I had so much I needed to have checked and needed so much advice and no one was there. What I will say is once my labour started I could not fault any of the care I received. I was so looked after during labour and delivery and also received amazing after care even though my trust was understaffed xx
It's totally normal to have breakdowns. I had them throughout my pregnancy and luckily baby and I got out of a bad situation. My baby is now my kid and we're happy. You guys always being a smile to my face. If either one of you is worried about sleep. Take turns and ask for outside help. Don't worry it will all work itself out.

I was in and out of hospital all throughout my pregnancy, in the 11 weeks before he was born I was in hospital every week with complications and I was just messed around over and over again the day before he was born via emergency c-section they realised he has no fluid around him and that he was very small. My son is now a healthy 3 month old but it could have been a different story. Don’t let them mess you around push to get the care you and your baby need xx

I just joined the CLFam and I can't wait for your Babi to be here! I have a 14 month old daughter and I was so scared when I thought about labor because she's my first but it worked out wonderfully. my only hiccup was that she was born almost 7 weeks early due to undiagnosed preeclampsia (I got diagnosed at my 2 week postpartum appointment 🤦🏼♀️) but she's a happy, healthy and thriving baby girl now! y'all will love all of the little milestones that he will go through. cherish every moment of it because it truly does go by so fast. love you guys and I can't wait to see what y'all post next!! much love from Orlando, Florida US!

A must have is a good loud white noise machine and a battery operated or rechargeable travel one as well. Seriously. They are a lifesaver. I can not say this enough.

Just so you know that I was in same boat at 34 weeks regarding equipment etc had six weeks tho so wasn't stressed...until 34+3 when my baby girl was born..you know what tho, everything works out!!! Enjoy these last days and remember best advice I ever got..when baby naps, you do too!!! You're doing amazing!

The lack of sleep is a real _____! But I found that if you do it right and share the work load, it sucks but it’s not so bad, and it will strengthen your relationship that much more, because you’ll have gone through it together. 💗💗💗💗

Just remember that the sleep thing, or lack thereof, will pass! As baby grows he will sleep better and just remember that it will get better eventually!! And you will be more than happy to wake up and take care of little 'sausage' sleep deprived and all. It will be beautiful. And just when you think you can't anymore... you look at that little face and know that you can and will do anything for him!!! Pregnancy lasts 9(10 months actaully) but parenthood lasts a lifetime ❤ good luck. I really enjoy watching your channel btw. Much love from the US!

Just so you know that I was in same boat at 34 weeks regarding equipment etc had six weeks tho so wasn't stressed...until 34+3 when my baby girl was born..you know what tho, everything works out!!! Enjoy these last days and remember best advice I ever got..when baby naps, you do too!!! You're doing amazing!

The lack of sleep is a real _____! But I found that if you do it right and share the work load, it sucks but it’s not so bad, and it will strengthen your relationship that much more, because you’ll have gone through it together. 💗💗💗💗

Just remember that the sleep thing, or lack thereof, will pass! As baby grows he will sleep better and just remember that it will get better eventually!! And you will be more than happy to wake up and take care of little 'sausage' sleep deprived and all. It will be beautiful. And just when you think you can't anymore... you look at that little face and know that you can and will do anything for him!!! Pregnancy lasts 9(10 months actaully) but parenthood lasts a lifetime ❤ good luck. I really enjoy watching your channel btw. Much love from the US!
