It is always a delight to listen to Jorma, I do it since 1970 with JA, HT; with JK or other musicians. Jorma one of the best guitarists since the 60's. Health and greetings Jorma.
Saw them for first time at 2015 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Fran, where they played this piece. Lamenting all the lost years of not listening to Jack and Jorma. My older brother knew what he was talking about !
These guys are just so cool 😎 me and my friends try to always sound like these guys when we played way back when ! We sucked ! But we always had a blast
How fuckin cool are these muthafuckas? Fuck! Just finished Jorma's book. What a Life! What a beautiful human being. Fair weather and following seas, brother jorma!
Jorma! I was born 15 years after you - 12/23/55, and I grew up down the street from the Goodman brothers, Frank, Billy & Jon.... I left for school in D.C. about the same time Billy found Kimock. I use to hit the dive bars in Levittown every chance I got to hear those guys.... they played covers mostly back then, but they had a good sound. I would always chew on Frank’s ear between sets about you and Jack and a new sound - the Rev. Gary Davis... but Frank wasn’t really interested. Oh well. I bought a classical guitar for $25 and taught myself a lot of your acoustic songs from "The Orleans House" (sp?), and then life happened and I stopped playing. I met your cook @ The Himalayan Institute some years back and played some of your/The Rev’s stuff for him. He sent me one of your CD’s after he went back to your place in Ohio. His name escapes me now... He was a nice kid. Anywho, I see Billy and Steve finally found you. You had a big influence on my life. Thanks for bringing a whole generation your sound. Maybe we’ll meet some day. Best regards, Jonathan and deepest sympathy for your buddy

This concert was my first trip to Fur Peace. What an amazing venue, like a personal concert.
The best band in the world, after all these years.
