Sarah, I'm sorry you're feeling burnt out and unmotivated. Just know that we're all here to support you and know that we appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this content. I can't speak for anyone else, but I personally watch your videos because I find your voice to be very soothing and I'm sure I'm not alone in that regard. You could talk about what you had for breakfast or something you saw on TV and I'd be happy just listening to you talk. You seem like a very genuine and caring individual and I want you to know that I appreciate all that you do and want nothing but the best for you. TLDR, You don't have to do elaborate things on your channel, we're here because we just like listening to your voice.
Well said 👍my daughter & I love storyline online where voices are lent to read stories and Sarah's voice has that soothing ability for sure , different subjects that include topics like harmony, peace, self help tips 🤷♀️ idk just a thought
Thank you for being honest and real with your community. I’m sure you can see how much we appreciate you keeping your content so easy - even though it probably doesn’t feel that way to you. I can sit here and be completely amped and not ready to sleep, pick one of your videos, and become so very relaxed. You and Gibi are my favorite ASMRtists. ❤ I hope you get some rest and recharge. We definitely appreciate your hard work.
Everyone feels burnt out at times, and it's completely normal. We understand and want you to feel free to take a break and rest as much as you need. We appreciate everything you do for us and want to preserve your well-being. Your content has positively impacted many people, and we are grateful for what you do.❤❤❤❤
I work from home with a “flexible” schedule and I’ve noticed that having a solid routine really helps me stay focused. I give myself a work “shift” (8-4:30) and do my best to stick to that timing so I stay motivated. It’s helping. Sending creative vibes and peace your way!
You could read the phone book and it would be perfection, you don’t need to always be creative or cutting edge, I love when you just talk about life while doing random triggers. You’re one of the best!
25:12 please don’t feel the need to over complicate ! I absolutely love more simplistic ASMR , trigger words mouth sounds inaudible whispers etc. is all I’ve ever needed to fall asleep 😂
Idk why it’s uncommon but I love how you don’t get lost in your whispers or what you’re talking about and have constant triggers throughout. A lot of ASMRtists tend to just whisper exclusively and really loudly and I feel bad because I get so bored 😂
I loved this chitchat, like someone else said in another video, it’s your presence that makes me calm. I hope you do what’s best for you and your wellbeing. I’ll wait 🫶🏼
When I feel burnt out at work, I feel rejuvenated if I find that my work makes a difference. Similarly, I want you to know that regardless of how saturated the ASMR marketplace becomes, I want you to know that you're always the best! I've searched high and low for other ASMRtists when you don't post but your work is simply irreplaceable and much more effective and helpful for me! no one can ASMR like you, and do what you do for others.

I know what it feels like to get burnt out ive been doing the same job for the past 2 decades and ive found burnout generally comes from a lack of understanding your purpose . So sorry to hear about your ankle and the demotivation and burnout you've been feeling 😔. Like you said, it's normal. Thanks for being open with us and sharing personal things, makes you even more real and likable! Know that we support you and love anything you put out. You're my absolute favorite ASMRtist! Do take time to rest and get the break you need. We're rooting for you! 🤗💕
Damn Sarah, I didn't know you went through all that with the ankle. Amazing you did all that work going through everything. You should be really proud of yourself for persevering and helping a great cause. As for the burnout, I've been there and I think your mind and body are telling you to rest. You dealt with a lot over the past few months with moving, volunteering and going through an injury. Don't know if you've really had a chance to settle in. Give yourself some time, whenever you can set aside even just a couple of weeks to regroup and regather yourself. Unplug as much as possible and do some things you enjoy (read and paint maybe), let yourself recover. Take care of yourself and hoping you get through this soon.
i’ll try to write this as coherently as i can (i’m very sleepy thanks to you😂) but i can really understand what you are going through. as someone who works on creative content as you, i get the burn out and how difficult it can be to be productive and creative when you’re feeling that way. what comes first, the depression or lack of inspiration? who knows, but what i learnt is that once you make some progress on one, you’ll make some progress on the other one. so try something that motivates you, something that makes you happy (for me, it’s reading, watching tv shows, talking to my friends), one step at a time. sometimes is good to disconnect for a while, to breath different air and try to connect with yourself. getting out of your comfort zone or simply being active, you can find inspiration on the most random things. and also, let yourself go through it. allow yourself to feel depressed, to not feel creative… the best way to beat it, is to go through it❤ hope it helps in any kind of way, greetings from Argentina🥰

The best part is you don’t have to get crazy creative because we all just love listening to you. You could probably repeat 20 words over and over and we would still be in awe and love it!!!! Thanks for fighting through your own personal battles to continue to bless those around you!!! ❤ Also cacahuate is such a fun word to say! When I was in high school I used to use the literal translation of peanut butter as my swear word because it was fun to yell in Spanish! 😂😂😂😂
Sarah, your voice is so calming. I literally listen to your videos every day. While doing homework, or studying, or even for sleep! I appreciate you! 🫶🏼

Motivation is often a problem, as someone who's struggled with mental health issues for 40 odd yrs now i can definitely confirm diet is extremely important for me. Eating sugar, carbs and processed foods just destroys my mental health, but if i stick to natural foods and avoid the 3 mentioned categories i feel like a completely different person. Still have all the same problems of course, but at least now i can start dealing with them. I also started walking for 1 hr a day recently and although it's hard on the body due to being unfit, it's also helping my mood and motivation.
Sarah don't forget about your own self care and whatever that means for you, to refresh and motivate your energy..as a former therapist I remember how soothing my sand trays were for all ages, so thinking maybe incorporating that somehow 🤔just a thought ...love your content, it helps very much ❣️
Closing the loops has been very helpful to prevent burnout. Scheduling “off days” is also super important to keep yourself from getting burned out. I can dive into the details of “closing loops” if you want love ❤
Oof this is super hard for me! Unlike my other jobs, this one kinda stays on my mind 24/7 🥲 but it really is something I need to get better at hehe thank you for your tips and would love more details! 💜
I would very much enjoy a whispered video describing the type of engineering you do - whether describing the project you worked on in Peru or prior work you've done. ❤
Hi Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling burnt out, but I think it's good and brave of you that you're honest about it! I can relate to that unmotivated feeling and not being able to be creative (I'm an interior design student). I have also struggled/am struggling with mental health issues, ADHD, problems with planning, motivation and self-doubt (such a fun brain). With the motivation, what helps me, is to reflect on why I started doing what I do, what drove me to create, when did I have the most fun with it, when/how do I feel most at ease when I work/create/study. I personally love your simplistic videos where you just talk or read a book aloud, also your bilingual video's I love. Your voice is so calming and you've helped my brain calm down so so many times. For a video, maybe you could do something you love, pamper yourself, or talk about something you like to do, and let that be the asmr video? To take some of the creative pressure off and kill two birds with one stone. Also, maybe asking yourself why or when you felt like you lost your motivation, maybe that results into something you can address? Like some pitfalls you have when it comes to planning and motivation, and see how you can help yourself with that. The most important thing with burnout in my experience, however, is being kind to yourself. You seem like such a lovely person, and it's perfectly normal to struggle sometimes. You're not the best at self managing and/or self motivating? Totally fine. Take your time to figure out how you can help yourself best. I (and I think a lot of others) really appreciate everything you do and all the content you make. If you need to take some time for yourself please please do ❤ Sorry for the long message! I hope I'm making sense and that this message can help you. Thank you for all you do ❤ kind regards from the Netherlands
Sorry to hear that you have been working through some things. Your channel has been a great support for me and I hope you have the same sort of support.
I love it so much when you show your souvenirs! You are so smart and I love just listening to you chat about your life and your experiences. I'm glad you enjoyed Peru despite the sprained ankle
Sending you love! Yeah, unfortunately burn out happens to a lot of us, but it’s all about balance, do whatever makes feel better even if it is just a little. Nature always helps me too or trying something new. Appreciate you Sarah! Thank you for everything! Hope things get better for you!❤
From Australia 🇦🇺 ♥, it will be laid back here. Regarding motivation, never push yourself and just film when you feel motivated. The heat kills my motivation. Ty for captions.
Thank you so much ur soft voice is like an angel speaking through my ears leading me to a long and stress free journey I don't how to explain it but i love it thank you so much❤❤
I absolutely love your videos!!! They always help me feel better and go to sleep and or relax. I’m sad that your feeling unmotivated. For me it helps a bit to take time off and to relax and not think about what you have to do. From there ideas may just come to you, because when the mind is stressed it blocks thoughts from coming easily. I hope you feel better soon and just know we all love and support you and we understand if you need to take time off. Your health comes first. Stay safe and well. 😊
She shine like an angel. Very beautiful and she gives love . Her clear eyes😇No obsession with bullshit. I want to watch it everytime I go to sleep. She is very relaxing😊
Sorry youre feeling burned out. Definitely natural. Maybe just make a bunch more chatty/whisper ramble videos cause you like them and they're my favorite ;).
Aww Sarah. Sorry you are feeling burnt out. We all get that way. Take the time you need for yourself. Side note. This video was awesome. Simple. Relaxing. You are my favorite ❤️❤️
Love your honesty/openness and wished to say two things 1. You are one of the asmr artists that help me the most to regain calmness and be able to fall asleep 2. My tip that you can use if it's useful for you: anything that helps you to relax/recharge your own inner batteries do that! 😊 My own thought: I love animals and sometimes being in nature and just seeing animals free and happy helps my mental health no matter if it's sheeps/cows or.. a wild rabbit or ducks. That's probably why the story of your cat tracking/finding your Keychain was what made me laugh/smile 😅 I don't know if making an asmr video with animals or including your cat could be a good idea for a calming asmr video or making an asmr video tapping on nature items (no matter if it's filmed indoor or outdoor), they are just some thoughts/ideas. Be blessed and thank you for all your calming content 🙏❤️
Sarah--we all appreciate you and want you to do what you want or need to do to remedy the burnout. For me, taking breaks to find flow in the xay with art or music, etc. refresh me or trying tontake a few days off in nature with your partner to feel grounded and connected to the idea that we are small and nothing ee do matters in the sceme of the universe and that is beautiful when you think about it. You got this and for the record, this was thenbest asme videonive ever watched.
Mmmm, the Beam drink sounds delicious! And relaxing 😴💤 Always love your sponsor portions of your videos... so Tingley!! An entire video of sponsors would be amazing 🥰✨
Thanks for the video! I’m self-employed running an Amazon store and my tips for burnout are: build margin into your daily schedule to not be go, go, go all the time and take at least a full day off regularly.
The desiderata of life that you and we all yearn for is best articulated by the prose-poem of the same name, Desiderata, by Max Ehrmann although written almost 100 years ago, it still offers great advice on how to have peace with the world but more important on how to have peace with ourselves. I hope you have a chance to read it Sarah if you haven't done so already. There are many people who love you and love what you do not the least of which is your strength of character to be able to express openly and honestly about feelings that most of us either deny or are afraid to talk about. Thanks for being real and thanks for a wonderful vid. 💜💜
Hi there, don't think I ever posted a comment anywhere but when I heard what you were saying about lacking motivation I just felt the need to write this. I am sorry to hear that, I will spare all the comments and will just give you some hints related to your content. I have been listening to your video for a long time and my favorite are the simpler one, like this one, where you just talk about what's going on. I like your voice and I like hearing from you - it's one of those para social things: I feel like I know you, and what you tell is kind of relatable. I also loved the "study with me" videos. I loved your tips about learning a second language (passed them to my bf that is trying to learn my own). Even just reading a book or commenting what you are reading is fine. Sometime the struggle is real, and sometimes we kinda amplify it with our perfectionism... I believe (and I am sorry if this is bullshit, I do not know you and shouldn't dare to make this type of comments) that when you built the ASMR studio you unconsciously put yourself in the position of being stressed. You added A TON of pressure like "now I have the studio, now I am a professional, now I simply MUST BE SUCCESSFUL". it could be I am projecting my own feelings, but... it's just and idea. You already are successful, at least for me. You are doing great. Have a nice and safe trip, and have fun!!! this is the most important thing!
Personally I'm a recent fan of yours and is because in your channel I found the tingles I felt in ASMR for the first time. Keep it simple, keep whispering and cheer up 😊 your awesome!! Good vibes from 🇲🇽
I'm an artist that has worked freelance several years, and I really feel your struggles with burnout and self motivation - it pains me to hear a fellow creator struggle with this as well! For me, it felt like once the novelty wore off, as much as I still loved drawing for people, it was so difficult to stay on top of everything and continue to keep up the pace! And then of course, as soon as I fell behind, I'd feel even less motivated. I haven't found a perfect way to solve it permanently, but what has helped me through a few rough patches personally was to find some kind of a new approach to either planning or creating that introduced some level of novelty and control back into the picture. For example, switching up how I plan my days (buying a cute table calendar instead of using just trello), or finding a new creative process. Sometimes even just changing the order of tasks can help, or maybe breaking the tasks into smaller chunks (or vice versa, if you were really fragmenting your tasks before, you can try dedicating a full afternoon to one task). That, and make sure to always have something else you're passionate about in your day other than your work! It's super important to not lean your motivational structure on one single thing, because I fully believe motivation needs external influence to recharge itself! Otherwise it's just feeding on itself :D Hope that makes some kind of sense, I hope you can get past this rut, and don't forget to be kind to yourself and take breaks! Thank you so much for what you do, it has helped me snap out of some of my most anxious moments (:
12:56 "helps with altitude sickness" Can't get fresh leaves in my area but the powdered form can help with anxiety, altitude sickness, pain and dancing 😁
It's good that you recognize that you don't believe you're being a good self-boss but that doesn't mean you can't be! I'm if that's what you really want to get better at and continue to learn then you will be one with time and practice. Getting out of a depressive mood isn't easy. Maybe it''s time to make changes in your life that excite you again? Your videos make my night and I think you're really good at ASMR. Don't let the self-doubt win. You can! Wish you the best Sarah.
Its Super cool that you got to work on a wind turbine! I'm endeavoring to hopefully build a small home turbine that is a vertical axis turbine. Researching all the different shapes and their efficiencies has been fascinating to me, im so excited about it
I love deep ear to ear whispers when it's like this. Now if it was anything like what Spawn did to Chapel (Home, Bitter Home), that would be so unnerving.
As a mechanical engineer/ artist myself, it's really interesting to hear you talk about balancing those two parts of your life... I also had no idea that Americans pronounced "turbine" as "tur-bin"! ... in Canada we say it like "tur-byne"
I really love all your Videos and your voice!!! ❤ It’s very calming and nice. Thank you for helping me fall asleep. I really appreciate your time and effort to do these videos!
When I experienced burnout from my computer science job, I ignored it and kept on working. A year and a half later I had developed clinical depression/stress and had to be hospitalized for three months. Total crash. Please, listen to your inner self and take a break if it tells you to
I myself really like visual triggers. The focusing and unfocusing of my eyes makes me fall asleep quickest I feel. Just to give you an idea. But also it might not be a bad idea to just take a break. Especially if it’s causing you depression. Take as long as you need and thanks for the asmr🙏
it’s actually mostly cold (winter) where I live (South Australia). I’m dreading Summer . I don’t cope well in the heat, so I completely feel your pain.
Sarah, I have been looking forward to your video! I'm sorry you're feeling burnt out. I am not sure what the best advice to give you exactly is as I, personally, am not 100% in the right place and ASMR videos like yours help me in the short-term. I haven't figured out the long-term solution yet. However, as your community, we are here to support you! I love and appreciate your work and efforts. Your videos are some of my favourite. I find them both relaxing and interesting. I really like your book and tapping videos as well as the role plays.

If you need to take some time for yourself please please do ❤
Sorry for the long message! I hope I'm making sense and that this message can help you. Thank you for all you do ❤ kind regards from the Netherlands
I’ve watched this video so many times in the past week. Your ear to ear whispers are magical. 😊😴
Sorry to hear that you have been working through some things. Your channel has been a great support for me and I hope you have the same sort of support.
Thank you so much Simon 🥺💖 so so kind
I absolutely love the way you do your hand movements for the visual triggers:0 Would love to are more!
Thank you so much ur soft voice is like an angel speaking through my ears leading me to a long and stress free journey
I don't how to explain it but i love it thank you so much❤❤
relaxes me everytime thanks sarah for all you do.. the last few months have been turmoil for me but this with meditation has kept me going
Awww Sarah send love to you too 🥰🥰, i hope you find the strengths you need and you're not alone ❤❤, Thanks for the whispers 😊😊
This hair length suits you so well! Thanks again for a great video Sarah 💕
Sorry youre feeling burned out. Definitely natural. Maybe just make a bunch more chatty/whisper ramble videos cause you like them and they're my favorite ;).
Also no mic covers is so so good for whispers and brushing 😍
I needed this tonight 😅 the stars aligned. Thank you so much 🙏
So soothing and relaxing thank you Sarah L, and your hair looks amazing !
Aww Sarah. Sorry you are feeling burnt out. We all get that way. Take the time you need for yourself. Side note. This video was awesome. Simple. Relaxing. You are my favorite ❤️❤️
Thank you Shawna!! 🥺💕
I love your videos. They have helped my mental health so much. I hope you get to feeling better.
The story of your cats always being able to find/track the alpaca keychain, so sweet 😅👍
You’re the best. Consistently and comfortably. Thanks for being my go-to for so long now.
Thank you so much, these are lovely ideas 💜💜💜
Mmmm, the Beam drink sounds delicious! And relaxing 😴💤
Always love your sponsor portions of your videos... so Tingley!! An entire video of sponsors would be amazing 🥰✨
It really is super tasty!! 💖 and thank you 🥰
Loveee a new Sarah video!❤️ Puts me to sleep every single night!
This is soooo Relaxing❤❤
Thank you for Getting me a good sleep Queen❤❤
How do you know it was posted a minute ago 😭
I love the alpaca wall hanging! My dad went to Ecuador when we were little and brought a lot of stuff like that home ❤
You really got the timing. I was just searching for smth to get me to sleep. Thank you for helping!💜
Sarah's whispering combined with the crinkle of the cocoa package is amazing ❤
Good vibes from 🇲🇽
Thank you for everything you do Sarah!
We love and appreciate you, Sarah! 💜
12:56 "helps with altitude sickness"
Can't get fresh leaves in my area but the powdered form can help with anxiety, altitude sickness, pain and dancing 😁
You should do a vid that includes random pauses of zero sound. I think it would make me and others tingle a lot
My favorite ASMR Artist. So good and always improving!
You're the ASMR Queeen for me 😭🙌🏻♥️
Great to hear an update about your life ❤take care and thank you for the video
Im sorry you been feeling depressed. Just remember it's like the weather. It will always pass no matter how dark it gets. 💙
🥺💜💜💜
loved hearing about your trip to peru! sending you lots of love & light 💌🌟
I love your videos they are very relaxing and well not a lot of people can relate so keep your chin up and smile I’m cheering for you 🌹
There’s your new content right there: trip to Finland ❤
Thank you for all you do.
LOVE the wooden beaded ankle bracelet!!
As a mechanical engineer/ artist myself, it's really interesting to hear you talk about balancing those two parts of your life... I also had no idea that Americans pronounced "turbine" as "tur-bin"! ... in Canada we say it like "tur-byne"
No, we also say tur-bine not bin 😅😅 this might just be a lavender quirk
I really love all your Videos and your voice!!! ❤ It’s very calming and nice. Thank you for helping me fall asleep. I really appreciate your time and effort to do these videos!
You never fail to amaze me Sara. Thanks for the video. ❤
❤
❤
Here in Belgium the extreme heat wave has been over for a couple of weeks now, pretty much feels like autumn at the moment.
Sending you love while you’re going through a rough time💙
Thank you so much 🥹💜
Welcome to Finland, hope you will have great time here!
When I experienced burnout from my computer science job, I ignored it and kept on working. A year and a half later I had developed clinical depression/stress and had to be hospitalized for three months. Total crash. Please, listen to your inner self and take a break if it tells you to
So many tingles! I love Perú and Machu Pichu.
Welcome to Finland Sarah! Hope you enjoy your stay. 🥰
Seeing Sarah’s smile makes me happy
🥺💜💜💜
I myself really like visual triggers. The focusing and unfocusing of my eyes makes me fall asleep quickest I feel. Just to give you an idea. But also it might not be a bad idea to just take a break. Especially if it’s causing you depression. Take as long as you need and thanks for the asmr🙏
it’s actually mostly cold (winter) where I live (South Australia). I’m dreading Summer . I don’t cope well in the heat, so I completely feel your pain.
Wow it’s so cool that you’re coming to Finland 😍 I hope you’ll have a great experience here and it would be great to see a vlog!
its so beautiful here!! taking some footage for another small asmr vlog :) and thank you!
Your amazing I played this video when I was having trouble sleeping, and it really helped ❤
Hey Sarah, I had an idea of maybe doing interior designer roll play. With tile samples, carpet samples, fabrics, etc..
Love the sound of the ankle bracelet! 😍
speaks spanish, is an engineer, helps those less fortunate than her, drop dead gorgeous....your husband is a very lucky dude!
Whoops! Who’s gonna tell him 👀
@@katearnold8425tell him what?
Sarah, I have been looking forward to your video! I'm sorry you're feeling burnt out. I am not sure what the best advice to give you exactly is as I, personally, am not 100% in the right place and ASMR videos like yours help me in the short-term. I haven't figured out the long-term solution yet. However, as your community, we are here to support you! I love and appreciate your work and efforts. Your videos are some of my favourite. I find them both relaxing and interesting. I really like your book and tapping videos as well as the role plays.
