I bought the 4 CD box set. Love it. I also picked up the digital deluxe as well from their bandcamp cause it was cheaper than getting it from their official website. Having a clean version of Torpedo Town was a huge plus for me. Torpedo Town was available on the UK cassette release. It was just called untitled on the cassette.
I agree. It should have been free for the digital deluxe. I think it was a London records decision. $40, and they sent me a % off coupon cause I bought the box set, and it was still too much. I saw it on their Bandcamp page for, I think, $22. So I bought it.
Great that you appreciate so much British music. The Brits and the Americans do make the best music tho - I’ve always wondered why that is? I’d be interested to hear your take on Stereolab? They reissued a lot of back catalogue recently and are touring again. Wonderful band.
Maybe it's both cultures being western and having the same language and inspirations piling up over the years? It's a good question. Probably won't be doing a Stereolab video anytime soon, never been a huge fan.
@@occasionalfeelgood23 yes, I suppose the language and culture isn’t exactly a million miles apart. Lots of history between the two nations even outside of music. The DNA is linked. Stereolab aren’t very angst and perhaps a bit too twee. Dots and Loops is, I feel, one of the strongest albums of the 90s though. Listen to it again if you’ve got 65minutes to spare.

Digital should have been included. Agree with you. That is lame.
