      Thanks Steve, couldn’t have done it without your help!

    I got the Badlands Apex with the wire rope to better align with the ARB's mounting, and thus didn't have to cut the gap yours required. I already had the bumper installed by the original owner though, and so this video was a TON of help to make sure I was unbolting it the right way.

      I’m really glad to hear the video was helpful. I know I could have avoided notching out the bumper if I kept a roller fairlead. I also made a video showing how to rotate or click the winch if you need to move the clutch to access from the top hole in the bumper.

      Yeah that video was very helpful as well, I am planning to do that tonight. I actually wasn't aware you COULD do that, crazy the things you can learn on RUclips, so double thanks!@@wayfaringoverlander

    I did the same thing I looked everywhere and I could not find a video. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to make this video. I’m going to get one for Jeep grand Cherokee and I’m sure it’ll be very different, but this gives me a great context thank you again!

      I love these kinds of comments where people are glad they could learn something from this video. I just wanted to see what the whole thing looked like. Since nobody made a video I thought I better do it! If you have any questions DM me on instagram, same name (Wayfaring_Overlander)

    All you need now is a dynamic recovery rope. Looks a lot warmer there than here. Nice install bro....

    Looks awesome I’m waiting for mine to come in and I’m so glad you posted this thanks again! I ordered the inserts for the fog lights for the bumper but where did you get the lights that are in the inserts?

    • @wayfaringoverlander
      @wayfaringoverlander  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment! I’m so glad to know people can benefit from this video. The turn signal lights in the inserts came with the fitment package. You’re going to get two items, the bumper boxed and heavily wrapped and a second box with all the fitment gear, like brackets, bolts etc. feel free to DM me on Instagram at wayfaring_overlander as well.

    What did you do the secure the inner fender liner?
    I bought a used ARB, so this has been very helpful. Great video. Thank you.

    • @wayfaringoverlander
      @wayfaringoverlander  8 месяцев назад

      I’m glad to know it was helpful. As far as the lining goes, I have no expert advice. I trimmed the inner lining and as of right now I have zip-tied it to the bumper. You can call ARB corporate depending on your country, and get technical assistance over the phone. I have called them in the past. They may or may not be able to help in this situation. Feel free to hit me up on instagram at the same name! Cheers 👍

    I had to use an offset fairlead for my bumper on my Tacoma as opposed to drilling new holes.

    How long did the project take?

    • @wayfaringoverlander
      @wayfaringoverlander  7 месяцев назад

      As you can see I’m wearing several different outfits. 😂 it took me 3-4 hours of solid work, but I stretched the project out over several months because it gets 120 degrees in the summer in AZ.

    Great video, I'm doing it currently on my 2014 FJ. I noticed you zip tied the plastic lower piece of the front fender well to the body strut. Did that hold long term or did you find another work around? Many thanks, Matthias

    • @wayfaringoverlander
      @wayfaringoverlander  6 месяцев назад

      Great question. Since I made this video I have befriended folks from here on Instagram. We all discussed zip ties as the option. A gentleman from Australia and others from around the states all concluded that zip tying the plastics was the only real option. I want to reach out to ARB USA and see what they have to say. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for commenting. Feel free to reach out on Instagram : wayfaring_overlander (Mark)

      Thanks so much. I ended up using zip ties too. I got the side wings and found that that piece tucked nicely in there. @@wayfaringoverlander
