Olena's Cancer Journey: Fleeing The War In Ukraine To Seek Treatment In Sydney

Olena was undergoing chemotherapy in Ukraine when the war broke out. With nowhere to turn to continue her treatment, The Royal was there for her.
Since arriving in Sydney and staying with her best friend, Olena has been through six rounds of chemotherapy and preventative surgery to reduce the risk of recurrent cancers thanks to the Gynaecology Oncology, Genetics, and Breast Centre teams at The Royal.
