Frigid Electric- 2024 BYD K11M

During my time in Indianapolis, I heard about a bus rapid transit system for Indianapolis. As a typical transit seeker, I decided to check it out. It’s not bad, but why they bought BYDs, idk.
Opening dates-
Red (first BRT route in the state of Indiana) opened 2019
Purple- opened 2024
Blue- in the works
However, they are making an extension to the IND airport, due to open in 2026 or 2027. This will be called the Blue Line.
Bus: 2492
Model- 2024 BYD K11M
Route- Red Line to 66th street
