Chapman is getting up in age now, but still throwing 100+ is still pretty ridiculous
İkrruclips.net/video/EjOYiaZi8go/видео.html
he doesn't do it much anymore.. he hovers around 98, which is still very impressive
@@ommy7672 he literally threw 101 in the video?
nlksp key word: Hovers. Aroldis has lost a bit of velo this season. I’ve seen him throw 97 a few times.
@@thebigman9705 I think he’s lost lots of velocity over the years. I believe when he was with the Reds he broke the mlb record for fastest pitch throw at 105.something then broke his own record one or twice after that. But yes I think you’re right. With age he’s lost speed on his pitches
Are we gonna talk about DeGrom being at the top while pitching as a starter? That man is crazy...
This aged well
1:30 I could watch this all day
It’s funny that half the video are highlights of Crochet
And the other half are Staumont
I love how we just got used to Chapman throwing 106. And we're like damn, he didn't throw the fastest pitch this year?
seems like everybody's got a flamethrower in their bullpen
The fact that Crochet ended in the top three of balls thrown over 100 mph and he didn’t even start a game BLOWS MY MIND
No u mean the fact that he only had 8 TOTAL innings this year
I'm telling ya, this Crochet kid is something special. Next Chapman
Except he’s a starter rn😂
@@Matt-pv9lr and he tore his ucl
@@nlksp8125 no he didn’t
@@Matt-pv9lr He's a future starter but definitely taking the Chris Sale pathway by skipping the minors and coming out of the bullpen this year which will officially be his rookie season this year
hopefully crochet can come back healthy we will need him for 2020
Apparently he’s fine if you watched the GM conference
It was only forearm soreness/fatigue in that last playoff game appearance
Graterol doesn’t even try and he throws 101, the sox got so scammed
@@aidentai6249 but the sox were supposed to acquire him
@@aidentai6249 We got Kenta Maeda and he was an absolutely elite starter (finished #2 in the AL Cy Young voting), so I think in the end, we got what we needed for Graterol.
@@katherineberger6329 I def hated seeing Kenta leave, but in the end I'm happy hes thriving with you guys. Then factor in Graterols potential, possibly our next great closer, who knows... But id say both teams did well here
@@christophersmith0865 nah what about Urías
@@cro4194 dony get me wrong, Urias was the hero we all needed closing out the CS and WS, but I think he hold more value for us, long term, as a starter
1:50 dude launched the bat into orbit 😂
Baseball 9 be like
Graterol would be throwing 105 if he tried
Almost insulting how effortlessly he makes 100+ look😂
It doesn’t even look like he’s trying
He’s definitely trying lol
@@aaronmalick7734 the red sox actually changed the mookie deal because he had hurt his shoulder and they were afraid of reinjury due to his aggressive motion
Should be titled "batters staring at terrible pitches."
wow that is a fast pitch
Chapman is the beast 💪
Graterol doesn't even look like he's trying
If he was he will throw like 120 mph
@@deividz1041 haha sure seems that way
He’s a big boi

Chapman is legend 🇨🇺
Of course Chapman is on the thumbnail
MLB loves the yankees
@@chuck_nazty I mean he was the flame thrower of the past decade so
Because Chapman is the first player that comes to mind when you say 100 MPH
@@chuck_nazty he is the main face when you think of fast pitcher
@@chuck_nazty MLB loves whatever makes them the most money doesn’t matter what color jersey or what team name is on the front
Graterol is a beast
Hernandez Über Alles no
Stop being bias
@@36into6 so your saying throwing 101 is just normal
@@36into6 Objectively speaking, throwing 102 mph is insanely difficult and rare. Idk what you're on about.
@@ej3981 no one called him the best
I have heard that back in the 1970’s Nolan Ryan threw 100 mph but the pitch velocity then was measured when the pitch crossed the plate and now it’s measured when the ball leaves the pitchers hand. I don’t know how true this is but it would certainly make a difference in mph. Could be another baseball myth but is interesting nonetheless.
It’s tru. That was closer to 108-109 by our standards
@@bonjourr100 That is incredible. We sat behind home plate when Nolan was with the Angels and he would occasionally grunt when he wanted to hump up on his fastball. Pretty much it was “ugh”-POP. He was and always will be my favorite pitcher. Thanks for the reply!
Weird that 98 percent of pitches aren’t located either out of the same or down the middle
It looks like he's built pretty well. Who says that?!Fairfield was throwing 101 in the world series and he's not in this video? Everybody is always hating on the Rays.
False, no one is hating on the raya
@@cucxmber6815 ikrruclips.net/video/EjOYiaZi8go/видео.html
fairbanks?
Who is Fairfield. Ik a Pete Fairbanks tho
So proud to see a white sox on this list 🥳
Crochet is going to be something
The Dodgers have three pitchers, Buehler, May and Graterol that all touch a 100+mph.
The rays have more
@@nikoz8209and??
@@nikoz8209 in an equally petty comment, they also lost to the Dodgers
There's so many dudes that throw 100+ now days good lord.
2010: Chapman throwing 105/6 4 seams
2020: Broussard and a 101 sinker
dude i'm a sox fan and staumont is scary
Alternative title: Chapman and Crochet causally throwing 100+ mph
Bro Gaterol just casually tosses 100
BASEBALL STAR Mixes 27 gaterol 😂😂😂😂
@@36into6 oh hi there
One thing is speed, another thing is accuracy
Graterol over here throwing 101 like its nothing
Ikr mans INSANE
Wow, when I saw this it said it was made 44 seconds ago
Gregory Soto on the Tigers can bring it too! Remember that name
Staumont looks effortless.
crochet looks like he is barely throwing it his legs are so strong if he can do that and he throws 101 consistently
What do they make catcher's gloves out of nowadays? Kevlar? 😲 😂😂
Staumont must have an effective energy transfer cause he doesn’t look very muscular.
"Dork" In My Kevin Off Of Ed Edd & Eddy Voice
Crochet’s wind up looks like Billy Wagner
they're indeed fast, but no control
That's a lot of Crochet
Crochets fastball just sounds different. It's like he's throwing *harder* than the rest but at the same speed? Can someone explain this?
Noti gang
Is it just me or does Crochet's fastball look faster than the other pitchers?
He gets extra reach with how tall he is that perceived velocity is even higher.
Imagine all the catchers hands after their catching these pitchers 😂
There hands might be color red already
Gas!
Noti squad
Would be nice to see Shohei in this video.
@Ramen Lover I aee
If you watch Trevor Bauer's video on his RUclips channel, he consistently throws anywhere from 89 to 92 FB. On TV, when he is pitching, those same FB's hits regularly 93 to 95 on the radar gun on the TV screen. Basically MLB is juicing up the velocity 2 to 3mphs to make the game look more exciting to the viewers. Those pitchers throwing 97 to 98, probably hitting 94 to 95, hard but not that hard.
Canada still has Toys R Us? That’s not fair!
All fun and games untill you face it 😂
can any1 explain simply why staumont is so small in stature and physical form yet can reach that high ?> i think his delivery is fluid but it also feels a bit like juiced radar guns ? or like in other words how can he be so much smaller than crotchet but throw harder effortlessly lol
No Dustin May?
Graterol Has No Control
How tf don’t their arms just fall off at that speed , crazy .
Video should have been about missing the strike zone.
What about Rosenthal?
U forgot brustar gratorol 103
Chatman es el mejor
Hicks hurt?
Adderall's pitches don't seem to move as fast as the others.
Crochet goin all out, and then there's Graterol.
You’re actually so stupid, crochet is so more relaxed than graterol
Uhh where's jordan hicks? He throws 105 consistent
Dustin May throwing 101?
May regularly hits 100mph and not a single clip of him
Anyone notice every pitch except deGrom's is on FOX?
no
No because sportsnet is not fox. See Nate Pearson

Where is Tyler glasnow
Glasnows fastball is usually 96-99 mph
@@justafloridian7259 no he hits 101 a lot toward the end of the season
