Definitely not "fully independent" suspension! Its straight axle with 4 link suspension on the remo! Also i thought walmart sold danchee ridgerock which would out do both of those trucks!
redcat stuff is only sold online through walmart...walmart themselves don't carry or distribute any hobby grade rc stuff...it is all 3rd party sellers on their website. The danchee is nice, though I miss its predesessor, the RS10xt...it was mostly the same, though higher quality. I got started rock crawling with the RS10. It is amazing that axial recently came out with a 4 wheel steering RTR crawler, yet its 4 wheel steer is primitive compared to what you get on the danchee.
Fully functional this! Fully functional that, Fully functional fully functional what does fully functional even mean?? Tool box. Opens and closes? Trailer hitch..... can hitch a trailer to it? Fully functional fully independent suspension.... nope. Goes up and down but its not independent. Less excitement, more... i dunno. Something
In the first test, right at the beginning, there's NO WAY that was a fair test. You took two COMPLETELY different lines with the trucks. And because of the OBVIOUS bias in the "test" procedure, I gotta wonder just how charged were the batteries in the Walmart truck? It certainly ACTED like the batteries were almost dead. I call b*ll s**t on the whole "test"!
New bright has become just junk. The mini new bright crawler it's called brocky is the best for a New Bright rock crawler it has way more power than the giant one featured in this video
I am looking for an indoor couch cushion crawler for my 4yr old. Tried the $20 new bright rzr and the 1/5 scale rzr and they were both really crappy. Going today to return the 1/5 scale rzr. Still stand by that brocky recommendation?
you don't get the concept of rc crawling, you don't full throttle it up you go slow up so you get grip on the ground. The last and first teat the walmart truck acted like it had no batteries charge at all, next time charge the batteries and drive them in the blizzard snow.
In the 80's Nikko, Tyco,Shinsei and Radio Shack put out fun toy grade rc cars that made many of us get into hobby grade. Some of the old 1/10 Nikko was semi hobby grade. About 15yrs ago, Walmart sold these 1/7th scale rc military vehicles powered by a 12v lead battery. Those things are are nice, and would love to get hands on another humvee.
From the beginning it really doesn't look like a fair comparison. You should at least put flags or something so that they take the same course. Also you maneuver more with the non-Walmart RC more. As in, you didn't just back up and pull forward, back up and pull forward and then say "oh it can't do it". BTW was it even fully charged?
Tyco was the very best at budget Rc cars late 80s and mid 90s. i can still even name many that i owned. Hovercraft, Hammer, 6x6 Scorcher, Turbo hopper, Bandit. Wow how miss the good old days.
I've got a Walmart crawler now that isn't too bad. It can't match the torque of a hobby grade rig nor does it have the tight turning radius but the speed is pretty good and the body is awesomely (Is that even a word?) detailed. The big jeep in this clip can be upgraded with a few chosen parts.
The best Walmart rc is the “adventure force rock crawler “ most impressive I’ve seen has very nicer power for its price can actually hill climb with no problem
I still find it crazy how China has actual quality RC products when it comes to budget oriented stuff. It's just one of those odd instances where "Chinese bad" does not apply
That's with any product there are several hundreds of bad MADE IN USA items. That stigma is very misplaced cuz you can find amazing products made in China Asia ect. Just like you can get tons of bad products made in the USA.
I bought that Walmart rock crawler you have in your video for my nephew and he was upset because he could not keep up with me so what we did was we bought a We bought a Buck Step-down LM2596 Power Converter Module DC 4.0~40 to 1.3-37V LED Voltmeter and rig it with a black &decker 20v battery and we were able to make it 400% better we played with the voltage and right around 8.7v we hit the sweet spot now it’s a bit faster than mine and battery last for ever you should try it the device cost about $6 on eBay I used the black&decker battery because I had one laying around but you can use any other type
The only thing that I don’t like about it is that the frame is plastic and it tends to break if you push it too much but other than that it works absolutely great man
Sorry my guy .. but the Honcho you steered away from the rutt ridge, but the Walmart you high sided RIGHT ON TOP OF THE RIDGE! .. C'MON MAAN! SAME LINE EVERYTIME!
U can't turn the speed up on the jeep so it has no power and Walmart has way better cars with speed control you just got the shitty one for $100 u could have got one for $60 with light and speed control
On the first test, you decided with the Walmart car that it takes the impossible path. You then quickly attempt it again with the Chinese knockoff but then go the path the Walmart one could easily do. I think you are trying to make the cheap one look bad, which I am assuming it isn't too much of.
Personally I kinda feel the same I got a new bright Polaris and and by judging that small RC car I have yeah there is more to the Jeep that this guy let's on
That's odd. I have exactly the same blue truck from Walmart. Mine is a beast. I have three trophies that I won at Nevada State rock climbing competition. Lots of high-quality trucks was there. Eveone was angry my truck dominated all stages of the competition. Some of the guys claimed I cheated. I gave permission to inspect my truck!! Totally stock except my suspension tuning. New Bright was such a good brand, when I was little it was the staple brand but now its just gotten so much worse. The new one that I have is the baja crawler and idk what happened with the moter but it doesn't even wanna move the weight of the crawler on wooden floor.
I’ve had some cheap Walmart ones that actually have good power they just more often than not have no torque. Some do and I’ve been lucky but most are junk. I have some from Walmart that would do well on the courses you had in the video but many can’t sadly
There is a toy grade rock crawler by Maisto which performs much better, and might even be able to sort of keep up with the Remo, and is WAY cheaper. Honestly charging 100 for something outperformed by a 30 dollar car is just a scam.
I have it and it is unstoppable in the full force of a Canadian snow storm I took that out and abused it and only had a issue when it sunk in the snow and buried itself but it still drives to this day

I feel bad for people who don’t know the hobby and waste it on wal mart bullshit. You can get a nice cheap hobby grade for almost the same price as he just proved. And we keep you in the hobby with interest longer.
When ur doing the mud test the cheap one u go straight down letting it bottom out but the other one u ride the edge and when it does go to the center it bottomed out as well
When a guy starts off of a video telling how cold his balls are then that's the end of the video for me and I hope most of you people out there . Feel the same
Ok first of these are not that much of a difference in price to those who make all the comments saying he's just trying to downgrade the cheap one...like...which one wasn't?lmfao $80 difference to get a hobby grade over a damn kids toy? Plus you can get cheaper "hobby grade" rigs than that. Check out WLTOYS (I know name says toys but they're more for adults) who make every genre/category and class of rig you could want and most are way under $180. This brings me to the next point. This is NOT just two toy rc vehicles. One is genuinely a toy and it isn't really even about cost. It is down to every element of it's construction, electronics, power train, and materials in general. The blue jeep is a "toy-grade", the other is a hobby grade/adult rc vehicle. I would say it is a "real rc vehicle". Absolutely I'd say one like this kids could drive, but it is not intended and in the case of gas and nitro powered rc vehicles, and even powerful larger brushless electric vehicles they can be extremely dangerous and should not be touched by young kids, and/or have to have supervision when being handled or controlled. This is an apples and oranges situation. The toy jeep didn't even have proportional steering let alone throttle! So yeah not even apples and oranges it's like apples and soup cans or apples and garbage disposals.😂😂 I honestly besides a select market for young kids and learning kids look at the fact that they push toy grades on most in the major consumer market as a direct form of consumer r*pe tbh. Especially when a cheap(but in some cases surprisingly well made and engineered)lower cost in many cases hobby grade rc vehicles in at least one of every genre/category can be had for under that basic cost or right at it. Something every age can have fun with, and the learning young enthusiast can be proud of you at least some level and actually have something that can handle what he or she wants to do and most importantly can do what he or she wants to do with it. I personally really want to get back in to the hobby. It's is a blast and allows you to have fun in countless ways and places, games and challenges for the whole fam, or all your buddies and friends(in my case previously business partners, and employee team too haha!) . I mean when my kids get older I definitely want to get them started not just for the fun but the very powerful learning and teaching through them. Going from basic to intermediate and even expert electronics learning/experience covering everything from soldering to code writing, car repair/mechanical repair, and engineering particularly mechanical and electrical that all transfer over to full scale or real world applications. It also can provide real understanding driving and physics relating to driving that transfers to real vehicles wether on or off-road. I would say it also instills or should in most cases, a different thought process when something breaks or needs fixed, or you want to improve something. That thought process is one where you don't throw away and buy new you learn why it doesn't work and you fix it even if you can more easily buy new. It makes you think on your own accord and not think something is unattainable like in the case of creating something new, making something do what is is designed to do the opposite of, or just simply making something better (wether that's better to all or better to what you desire). Just saying this now I think after I get done with this remodeling instead of getting ready for bed I'm gonna blow the dust off a few rigs and charge some batteries for after work. I already told my wife when I get done with work tomorrow we can work on remodeling the house after a few bash sessions! 😂 (literally just said that lol). Look I've traveled the world and still do, make music and perform(haven't been focused like I should on that in a while too long...maybe because I haven't been running rc🤷 could be..😂), I do a range of different international business in e-commerce, I m soon to be heir to my tribe chiefdom (I'm a humble Lenni Lenape Mohican Native American of greater Deleware Nation), I race motorcycles and drift circuit along with actual rock crawling, I build all of these vehicles and tune them as well(used be a career when I was younger aside from motocross and kart racing), and I am an adventurer to the truest but there is just something about the hobby that is too much fun and could never be replaced. Hate that I didn't keep up with it for a while there. This made me decide to change that. I work too damn hard and much to not deserve something else I love that doesn't have to be planned to do! I might add I used to be big in the inside realm of clubs and festivals/raves, traveling across and out of country setting them up and going harder than measurable and I also (for non profit) am a wildlife conservationist and actively work with and raise big cats particularly (some bears and other exotics too) yet love the rc hobby wether its land, water, or air they all have a place and can be scratch that, ARE a blast! Can't stress that enough so yeah hopefully my rant about my life shows you how with what from my experience alot of people want to or would love to do that I do or did they never would replace the hobby, they are just separate things I love to do or are part of me. Anyways, hopefully got some people interested in the hobby and maybe made some soon to be die hards. It's a hobby for every class, financial status, culture, locality, personality, interest, and walk of life. Damn might be both the most random reason for causing my full attention, and longest comment at the same time. Guess I could just say it's something new I haven't did yet right LMAO. Well I'll leave it here. Wish you all the best and much love. -Toper "Utanu Klandahgi" S. World's longest comment title holder✋🏾💯🙏🏾😂😂🌌🌎
That poop keep...just leave it where it is...it cry’s for help everytime, almost like it’s tired and lazy lol so disappointing because if it had more power I think it would do well. Still it looks bad ass and I like it but I wouldn’t buy it knowing what I know. The other one is a clear winner! Damn it I wish I was out there in Tennessee with your old I mean my traxxas slash lol 🤜🤛
sorry but that is not independent suspension that is a solid axle, independent suspension means one corner can move without affecting the others, that's just not the case with solid axles.
My red cat everest was 230 bucks come set up with beadlock rims and it's huge and will out the better one out of theys not only that would crawl over the top of them lol

You should try one like lighting it on fire and driving it around just to see how long it lasts lol we shoot ours from a long distance moving targets against the hills lol
This video seems to exploit the new bright. Not saying that it’s better by any means but the driver of it stuck the front axel on so many things. Every single time he got stuck it was user fault. And then they avoid it on the attempt with the next?
I don’t believe Walmart truck is even on a charged battery lol
This ☝
And he purposely avoided putting the wheels of the Walmart truck on the mud, but did so with the other one.
The power is sad
Definitely not a full charge. I'd say a bit biased if not paid....

yea ok👌 go spend $100 and find out for yourself mr worlds greatest detective
Great video. But there is even a cheaper crawler that's better then both of those for around $120. The Redcat Danchee Rigerock. 👍
thanks but ive been posting that too the Danchee Rigerock is way better
Reason I would like or live winter is to not be in California during winter...or ever for that matter!

It's a hobby for every class, financial status, culture, locality, personality, interest, and walk of life. Damn might be both the most random reason for causing my full attention, and longest comment at the same time. Guess I could just say it's something new I haven't did yet right LMAO. Well I'll leave it here. Wish you all the best and much love.

are the tires on the grey rc car from a redcat everest 10
That poop keep...just leave it where it is...it cry’s for help everytime, almost like it’s tired and lazy lol so disappointing because if it had more power I think it would do well. Still it looks bad ass and I like it but I wouldn’t buy it knowing what I know. The other one is a clear winner! Damn it I wish I was out there in Tennessee with your old I mean my traxxas slash lol 🤜🤛
Every single thing stopped the Jeep even the weeds you would think for a Jeep it would be all terrain type rc only at Walmart I guess
Where can I get the $180 crawler
Where they at do
Hopefully this video's earning paid for the crappy Walmart rc, thanks for showing the level of frustration when taking the Walmart route.
Wonder if that Jeep body would fit my marksman
What wheels is he using thats not the stock wheels for the grey one
Where can I buy the grey one ?
sorry but that is not independent suspension that is a solid axle, independent suspension means one corner can move without affecting the others, that's just not the case with solid axles.
The jeep is so good I feel so bad when it get stuck 😭
Snowboarding is my favorite thing to do that’s why its better
My red cat everest was 230 bucks come set up with beadlock rims and it's huge and will out the better one out of theys not only that would crawl over the top of them lol
If this is a comedy it's great. If you were truly doing a review it sucks
the only reason i like winter is because i get to snowboard
I agree with you about being cold brotha
Are you that broke you had to get a fake axial honcho I’m 11 and saved up for 3 weeks to pay 370 dollars
kid i make more money than BOTH your parents combined👌🤣
@@MrRandomReviews my parents are divorced so I don’t know
@@MrRandomReviews sorry for what I said I didn’t realize how disrespectful it was hope you can accept my apology
@@MrRandomReviews looks great talking down to an 11 year old in your comment section!
I bought that Walmart rock crawler for my nephew and he was upset too because count keep up with me so what we did was we bought a
We bought a Buck Step-down LM2596 Power Converter Module DC 4.0~40 to 1.3-37V LED Voltmeter and rig it with a black &decker 20v battery and we were able to make it 400% better we played with the voltage and right around 8.7v we hit the sweet spot now it’s a bit faster than mine and battery last for ever you should try it the device cost about $6 on eBay I used the black&decker battery because I had one laying around but you can use any other type
You should try one like lighting it on fire and driving it around just to see how long it lasts lol we shoot ours from a long distance moving targets against the hills lol
he should light himself on fire and see how long he can drive around for. the guy is a moron
Love the winter no bugs.
Relatable
I love snow
Very misleading review. If my son didn't have the very same Walmart crawler I would of believed it. .Walmart jeep.does way better than video depicts.
dont lie man
This thing looks like it's running on a dead battery 🤣🤣
Why would you have gotten a redcat Everest 10?
Those are straight axles not independent suspension 🤦♂️
The Walmart Vaughn gittin Jr bronco. Brocky would smoke that blue jeep because it's weight to motor torque ratio
The foothills in California get 1-2ft of snow not nearly as much as we used to get in Idaho
Only valuable reason for liking the winter is snowboarding or skiing take a trip to Colorado your mind will be changed
This video seems to exploit the new bright. Not saying that it’s better by any means but the driver of it stuck the front axel on so many things. Every single time he got stuck it was user fault. And then they avoid it on the attempt with the next?
the REMO HOBBY really is a good crawler but the drive shafts it's a total trash , you better go with a metal drive shafts upgrade
I live in saskatchewan. Its minus 34 c. Today
Flat battery in the blue baby. No fair test!
Or you can get an scx24 for anywhere from 110 to 150 dollars and do everything you did the 180 dollar truck
Danchee Rigerock will rock your world for $120
thats a solid axle
Independant suspension does not mean what you think it means
