Really smart ! Today I baked with half more portion of the ingredients, but I cut down the brown sugar in 80g. And need to bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The cake is nice !!!! I give her a 👍
Thank you teacher for your recipe. Today I replaced plain flour with cake flour and cut sugar by about 15% to 114g. It came out fine! It’s still soft and light. Your recipe never disappoints ☺️.

My kids n husband love it and goes well with coffee or tea during this rainy days in Singapore 🇸🇬 and Thank you for sharing 😊😊

I made the cake tonight, followed everything exactly per your recipe except the sugar and oil. I reduced the sugar from 135g to 80g and oil to 100 ml (original is 170 ml). The taste is good but it is still too oily. I will have the oil further reduced next time. Your recipe is too heavy in sugar and oil. Thank you!

Lim Poh Hoon I don’t like sweet thing so sugar from 135g I cut till 60g. The taste just good to me. Coz banana itself already sweet. So depend on you ... if you like little sweet than maybe you can put 80g-90g.🤗

I reduced to 100g white sugar, used 25g condensed milk, and 100g melted butter but realised the butter was insufficient to mix with the 220g flour. I also underwhipped my eggs. The egg mixture wasnt as thick like yours so mine was a bit more watery. I had trouble folding and whipping the final batter, it became pretty runny. Sadly my end result ended up as banana kueh… it smells and tastes good though!

you can substitute half of the oil with melted butter. Sugar stabilises the eggs, cutting down too much will cause the batter to be runny.
I have used that receipy n I make it very well

If your batter didn't deflate, then the bananas sank to the bottom. Try mashing them till fine.
