Haven't you still heard about Crash Bash Live (a. k. a. Project Nitro)? This is in progress remake of the original Crash Bash. Yes, it has some changes, but it also has many add-ons:
Arcade Mode - can you become the best player? My nickname is Metal and none of the players could beat all of my records in the last build. Do you accept the challenge?
This game still lacks Rilla Roo and Koala Kong, but you can play as characters that weren't in game. Two of them are Crunch and Nina Cortex (still unfinished, but you can play as them without any problem). Find the others!
New costumes - be Classic Crash, Modern Crash, Evil Crash (still palette swap) or even Fake Crash (secret character). Find out which other characters hide their own secret friend!
5 areas of each mode instead of 4 - 3 of them are remade with some rule changes and the other 2 are completely new (Tank Wars and Racing are still absent).
Randomise your Adventure mode!
Play Adventure mode as team, not only one character!
And much, much more...

My dad and I were masters at this game. :) One of the awesome things about this game was that each minigame had a degree of handeye coordination, tactics and mind games. Not a lot of party games do this right.

Gaming is not about how real it looks. It's about the puzzles that our brains enjoy playing and this game nailed it with it's creative mini games.

loved this game. mom and i would always play against each other. she'd be the girl and i'd be cortex. she loved pushing me off the ice. would love to see this game remade. now that she's gone i'd love to pass it on to my kids for more memories

When I was little my brother and I used to play this game all the time. Problem was there was no outlet behind our console so we connected it across the doorway of my mom and dads room. When dad walked out of his room he'd forget it was there so it would unplug all of our progress 😂 we used to get so mad at that 😂 but this game brings back really good memories 👌🏼

Very fun going from perfect memory during the early minigames to not recognizing at all the later ones because I played this as a little kid and was never good enough to get to the end!

I remember getting pretty far in this game when I was really young. My sister and I always fought over Coco, and I won once in the entire time we played (from what I remember). I won on Melt Panic and the "Crash Wins!" voice still echoes through my head to this day.
Polar Panic and Pogo is my favourite!
GT4tube I like the ice one with the spinning penguin. You can just spam taunt and you can move while taunting.
I hated the pogo stick ones, like they gave me so much anxiety

The mini-games with using a polar in the ice my favorites. And liked much games used war of boxes.

My 2 doors down neighbor friend would always bring his Crash games to play on our TV. We would swap the remote every game over or level completed. When this came out it was so much fun because we could both play at the same time! I remember loving the pogo and the ball game!

oh man i love this game, i got it when i was about 6 years old completed it to 200% on 4 saves then deleted them all and played it all again until i had done adventure mode with every character (fav is coco), i played it constantly up until i was 15 years old and i still play it a bit now :)

This was my favorite Crash game, one of the funniest games that I had played on the ps1 and the only game that made me cry when I was a kid because the ultimate level on Sky Ball was so frustrating for me!

I learned about strategy and how to look for patterns from this. Played this with my uncle and sister, but we didn't have that 4 player plug so we kept switching between who plays.
I miss those days. This was the game to play when there was nothing else, because I found it so hard, but still easy to have fun with.
