Magnus: e4 Hikaru: 100% stressed
Bobby Fischer would 100 % have won that endgame which Hikaru didn't win.
I love when the commentators suggest what the two greatest should do, and are surprised when they dont.
pretty sure the commentators have stockfish showing the best possible moves right?
The commentators are GMs also. Not super gm level, but still “decent”.
Also easier to see moves when your not under the pressure
@@TFAK david howell is a super gm
i feelt like they were so anoying talking into the game and making wired comments xD i just watched the viedo on mute
38:40 the fact that hikaru reacts at the same time as a computer reacts is nuts
Hikaru’s brain is a chess engine confirmed.
I was thinking the same at that point. It's like the bar is present on his screen. This proves that they are at the top level of the game
bobby fischer would 100 % have won that endgame which Hikaru didn't win. .
38:38 Even the computer eval bar needs some time to figure out that Ra2 prevented Hikaru from winning the game. From the facial expressions of Hikaru, he figured it out about the same time with the computer.
Is the eval bar stockfish 16? well it should be. I've heard from people the eval bar is only little Stockfish 12.
Question....why did lie in the thumbnail with "100.0" accuracy?
click. bait.
100% is what chess.com shows
@@FunChessGames i ran it on that website.
That tells me their play was beyond stockfish. If you put that into another engine, you would most likely not get 100% vs 100% which is statistically impossible.
For view
These GM's remember their games from many years ago. I can't even remember my games 1 minute ago.😔
Magnus plays e4, hikaru immediately starts calculating 50 moves ahead and begins stressing 😂
An amazing game. Hikaru went for it but was thwarted by computer like defense by Magnus.
I mean at the end there he was winning but blundered.
@@boremir3956 it's not easy to play endgame, especially in such short time
@@imfuture7543and against magnus, the best end game player of all time
Bobby Fischer would 100 % have won that endgame which Hikaru didn't win..
@@scottwarren4998 bruh, stop being a simp. Fischer wasn't a god. He was a human too.
He ain't matching Hikaru, not even close, in blitz and bullets.
Hikaru, move 0, already going into a deep think
HAHAHAHA YEAH I JUST NOTICED
He needed to work out that endgame
@@Idiomatick mate in 43
i swear to god they need to keep the live board large
the play is much more important than the commentary
actually I like looking at the commentators
magnus always pulls some good move out of his ass lol
He is also lucky that opponents make blunders.
@@ondrejmacathat's hikaru 💀
@@ondrejmacalucky what😭
@@danialzulkarnain1680 yeees 😩
@@ondrejmaca lmaooo so lucky that he climbed to number one spot in the world and every single opponent he ever made blunders lol. So lucky.
Hikaru's side was a lot more interesting...just brilliant agresive moves
what normal people see: 1 game of chess
what hikaru and magnus saw: 40 to 50 games of chess, in which all ended bad, but the point is that they were actually looking for the least bad positions to give for their chess pieces
"It looks like his Blue Steel right now"
Legendary.
Do you really expect me to watch a 40 minutes video just to find the quote in the title?
Amazing players, both insanely skilled
If there were ever an event that implied utter silence be given, this might be it. 😂
love a good 42min, 15min match
That analysis bar is living a cocaine life. Absolutely dormant for the majority of the day, only to start suddenly spiking up and down, followed by the usual crash in mellowville xD haha
I'm sure Hikaru studied what the computer had in mind for a win
I love how no one understands landscape mode 😂
I feel Sagar shah should be here in this panel
I normally don't like so many casters talking but man. This was great casters and a GREAT game.
The dk riding is crazy
I love how the commentators says "he shouldn't do that" , a play that noone higher than 1000 elo would ever do such mistake and be so proud of herself
she is 2400 fide still better than anyone in this comment section
@@copicmarker1021 His point is they are not better than either of the players
@@copicmarker1021The point is, I will destroy her in bed...for within 2 minutes.
You are somewhere right, I like commentary but advanced one where they discuss ideas I didnt even know are possible moves but I get your point
@@TheNickkm
@TheNickkm is incorrect. Weak players have no business watching this. They cannot begin to understand the first few moves.
where can i get the pgn for this play?
David always supporting Magnus haha
I wish would keep the live chess board in the center and show the moves their discussing on the side
Man... I would much rather watch this game with Sagar commenting.
At least you get to learn from his commentary, specifically when Sagar asks the viewer for predicting next best move😂
The reason that Hikaru moved his "quirky" rook was after Nd5...Bxd5, exd5 and his knight is hanging
I thought this doesn’t start until about 7 hours from now
Comeon Hikaru!!!
The commentators got more screen time than the actual game,
What was the correct strategy at 38:38? I think Hikaru needs to bring the king and rook up on rhe inside between the pawns somehow?
the only reason magnus didn't lose this is because of the bullshit time extention rules, without them he would be at -5:05 type shit
Would it have been better for Hikaru to take the H pawn instead of the knight?
I was thinking the same thing about opening G file
Nah then he can just play g3 and win the pawn eventually
why don't you keep the live board big man. i can see possibilities in the small board. continuously switching boards making it mess
What was the time increments in this?
This is NAIL. BITING.
It impossible for it to be 100% because evaluations bar was saying that Hikaru was wining but after 1 bad move it was draw
Was this longest game in history or close to?
Hikamura (intendet) always thinks about the camera and feels watched.
"Blue steel" lmao
Magus on the ending game is just unwinnable jesus christ.
Based Jerome Iginla jersey
It is interesting that Magnus has a Jerome Inginla Calgary Flame Hockey Jersey on his wall.
Magnus is a thorn in Naka's side.
38:11 I'm shit at chess but even I knew that pawn doesn't matter in that position
There were 15 moves stockfish didn’t agree with for Magnus and only 11 moves for Nakamura so actually that’s 91.666 for Nakamura and 88.6 for magnus. Nakamura actually had a win there but couldn’t find it. On move 86 if he played 86.Ke4 he could have won. Well played for both.
I don't think that's how accuracy is calculated? if , for exemple, Magnus plays the second best move by stockfish, it"s still very good and accurate
@@dauvyde4665 there is no other best move when it cost you the game to me that’s not accurate if the move you made causes you to lose or draw the game that’s not 100% accuracy. Agree to disagree. A good example is Zugzwang. Means any legal move will worsen their position.
F stockfish.
Click bait
@@jonbellomy329 that is not how accuracy is calculated. Being in Zugzwang does not mean you are forced to take an accuracy penalty lol.
I love chess
"then have 6 lifetimes"
Magnus he's one of the best in the end games
well he's the best so...
curiosity.. who are those people speaking in the video? are they chess players? they comment with so much confident.. someone knows?
Yes! They are chess GMs, and are very skilled in the game. :)
@@jaideepshekhar4621 ty
the men are GMs; those bitzes ain't
hikaru's face at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hikaru coulda outright won like 3 separate times that's crazy, instead in the endgame he ducked the pieced and even danced them back and forth when instead he has to keep it locked and use the as the threat and move the and get the checkmate it's out of the box thinking but it would lead eventually to the black pawn promoting all 3 times. Moving the King and zigzagging the pawns was step 1 then he just didn't follow through.
Wow gg both players
Man clickbaiting at 2k 💀
oh nah hikaru is calculating checkmate in 58
If you like silent game analyses then: ruclips.net/video/ulJ_0AUD9M0/видео.html and please subscribe :)
At 12:00, why couldnt Hikaru take the e4 pawn with his Knight?
28:37 I find this funny. 😅😂
At the point when Magnus wanted to pin the queen and the queen moved, why not take the black queen then check then pin the pawn
loving how you are predicting everything
translation: loving how you can use stockfish
8:15 im the type of player to take h3 in that position as black. Its interesting to explore, against the engine its losing of course
19:36 the way she talks to the cameraman xd
Did any has noticed what happened at 15:07
As an avid fan of Destiny, I enjoyed.
Why Hikaru at 8:14 take the knight instead of the pawn? Wouldn't this help him to open the G column in front of the white king?
because he was losing his knight???
Opening the g file isn't THAT valuable. a knight is still better than a pawn
wheres gottamchess
Magnus would’ve found it
does Hikaru have a mattress leaning up against the wall
GO
MAGNUS
Magnus's member is just mind-blowing? (0:08)
Hahaha. Good catch
hikaru deserved the win lol
The smallest window is the board. Great view of the announcers though.
bro hikaru almost had it fuck
actually i would go ham with 5 lifetimes, far surpassing magnus. but my only other life will not be on earth in reality
I am so confused. Why did Carlsens time keep going up? Dude had 10-15 seconds for like 10 minutes.
they get a couple seconds whenever they make a move
Is the commentator related to Anna Cramling? Edit: The lady at the very beginning*
39:50 Kf2
I meant Kg2
Magnus- E4
Meanwhile Hikaru- B x B, Q x Q, Ra1#
6:58 why didnt calsen take the G pawn with the knight ?
And open the column on king? Too risky!
3:12 Magnus Has Mate In 3😮
No he doesn’t, you can see the evaluation bar on the left side, it’s +0.1-0.2 at most
Why do clickbaits?
What clickbait? 100% is what chess.com shows
rly annoying the live game is the smaller board
i have been playing since about a month but i do not see any progress
i feel like i got even worst
might need a chess book from the library so you can read before getting it, that way youre not scammed by a bad book with good marketing online....
I wonder if Hikaru has heard Nakamura by Lil Uzi Vert 😂
Lol, just listened to it
report this clickbait
Hmmm Bishop G4 at 23:19 is not a play?
How does that help??
Any of us could live roughly.. 8 billion life times and not have the chess skill of Magnus or Hikaru. This level is that good.
the commenters are indeed like surgical specialists
22:11 why not put the rook on h3 which forks the rook to the queen and king...hmm
Wtf black loses a rook, bishop, queen for a white queen and two pawns
@@TombofNazarickyeah² I saw that but I forgot to delete the comment
Show the board more.
Why don't magnus play Q e3 on 3:33 time. Game time. Not the video time.
42:17 is Rg2 e2 not winning here?
King takes e pawn, other pawn is attacked by rook
Where is Gotham tho?
draws are the worst part of chess
Love the zoolander reference
good god, these commentators wont stfu
when the commentators know less about the game than the players its always "he is calculating", "he knows there is something there" etc. xD.
