Thanks for the video. Isn’t the FDS supplied by the median nerve?

Cheers Roshan, Yes absolutely, FDS is median nerve and I agree it's a little confusing here. My apologies! The reason for Tom examining FDS is that he needs to differentiate it from FDP, which is UN territory for little and ring. FDP gets examined with the PIPJ splinted out straight.
Please see the attached pdf (all of the other nerves are coming online with their corresponding examination video)

I had the Ulnar Nerve Retransposition procedure done 7 months ago. It hasn't done anything for me. I still have muscle atrophy between the thumb and index finger and between the last finger and ring finger. My orthopedic, who did the surgery, told me it could take anywhere from 8 to 12 months before it reenervates. A hand plastic surgeon told me it could take 12 to 24 months. In addition, the muscle may not hypertrophy at those locations mentioned earlier. With that said, thank God that I don't have any clawing. I have grip strength with my hand. However, I can't spread the finger between the middle and ring finger, and I don't have any resistance strenght when pressure is applied both laterally and medially with my pinky and ring finger. All the other digits are fine. I know very well that such procedures may take time for the nerve to reenervate. So, I'm keeping my positive outlook, and I continue to work out even though my grip isn't able to hold on ro the weights when doing my sets of exercises without having to readjust my grip. But I'm good with that. Just gotta keep working on it and praying, of course! 🙏🙏🙏 💯💯💯👌👌👌👍👍👍
