This is a gorgeous leatherwork project. Thank you for posting. I subscribed to your channel years ago to watch projects like this. It’s great to see. So many lovely tips. The decorative sewing of straps to bag I particularly like! Also sewing leather to wood is beautiful. Many more good tips and nice touches. A delight to watch.

Cool project. Something my wife's and I may have to try. She would do ALL the leather and I could cut the 3-4 pieces of wood.😀.

As a leathercrafter i think its good project. I would probably avoid dying leather myself and would work more on edges.

A good trick with brass screws is to take a metal screw with the same diameter and thread pitch, and screw that into the pilot hole to create the threads first.
I've done this in the past and one time had to use multiple metal screws to cut the threads because the head of one stripped. The softer brass would never have made it.

I really enjoy your wood and leather cases and this looked amazing. Inside separators are genius.
Quick question about the thickness of the wood, was that aesthetics or also needed for strength with the equipment?

Thanks. A little bit of both. The wood had to be thick enough to handle those screws.

It's a beautiful case, but you might consider seeking help for your coffee addiction. 😄 Thanks for a great idea and an interesting video.
