Super pumped you didn’t put chunks of onion in your meatloaf. Nothing ruins meatloaf faster then crunching into an onion while eating! However, Traeger grills are against my religion. I will be trying a meatloaf on my smoker tho!!!!
Against your religion??? Is it cause of price, or pellets? They are expensive, ok quite bluntly they are over priced. However….. I saved my cabelas points, had a gift card (from Christmas) AND they were having health care application week (one good thing to come from Rona). So I got mine for about 50% off, my mama raised a coupon clipper 🤣 Straight up, if it wasn’t for the deal I got then I wouldn’t own it. That said, the “set it and forget it” aspect of it is awesome. Makes smoking “easy” for almost everyone, even me. So, if you’re against pellets, I get it (especially with you living in Texas). For me though, this is my first smoker of any sort and so far it’s done me right. Someday when life gets a bit easier, I’ll graduate to a side fire box. When I’m more experienced, cause Lord knows I don’t know everything.
@@KrisMak yes… I said against my religion cause this is Texas and BBQ is a religion. It ain’t the cost cause my “stick burner” smoker was well.. very expensive and is way more work then a pellet grill:-) all that said… from a prepper standpoint, it is awesome to have several alternative forms of cooking including the pellet grills:-)
@@KrisMak honestly it is a really good way to learn as it is so much more forgiving then a stick burner. But be careful… making BBQ is an eternal black hole that that can consume your soul!!!!!

@@reasonablyprepared totally agree. One day I’ll get to a stick burner. I’m letting this thing build my confidence for now 😉
