Came here because I paid 20 dollars for an old ass box of 9 mm and didn’t even know that was a bad deal until I got home and looked online. I like shopping local too, but it’s not affordable to buy ammo that way. Thanks for the helpful video!
Thanks very helpful
Better wait your ass outside compact is the king .
Does it have an option for a clip to attach to your pocket?
Stock, no. Aftermarket, possibly. I keep mine in a Blue Alpha 10 speed double mag pouch. Keep my Leatherman in the other pouch.
Great idea brother
Thank you, I appreciate it.

Just about to buy one now so I'm doing the usual - RUclips review - rabbit hole before I push "purchase" Love your expression. I can relate 😊 subscribed!
Thank you. You can’t go wrong with the S30V steel. Was it expensive, yes. But it’s an “expensive” that I’m not disappointed with. I have had other items that are expensive that I regret. However, I have literally carried this every day since I bought it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
@ I'm of like mind. Buy once - only cry once.
I feel that the Sportsman is to the Companion as the Waiter is to the Compact. Could you do a little short for the Sportsman? It still hasn’t dethroned my Waiter but I feel it should get the recognition that it deserves.
Nylon rope & Nylon bankline is the best for most Survival situations. ⚠️ Paracord is a water sponge and stretches too much !
Good comparison. It looks like you tend to shoot the M&P Shield pretty well with some of the best groups. In our region Blazer tends to be very competitively priced, runs well in my handgun, and I shoot it well. I just don't sweat a 2-3 cents per round price difference but 10 cents per round gives me significant pause. Cheers!
It dose t have a scissor
I like the autos in the 112 it’s easier to open because I am left handed
Thanks for the review. Can you please add your height and weight?
Both But I'm stuck on the evowood 10 and 14, I'm at an impasse 😮
Canadian prepper is a dumbass
Dude you totally contradicted yourself on direction to push sight. It was pretty confusing.
Tired of hearing how CONCERNING everything is tired of everything being an emergency alert and don’t forget the three Ps . Pretend , perpetrate and pay me.
The front sight screw is a 5mm socket. I took a grinder to a cheap 5mm socket to get rid of the bevel on the end and it worked perfectly.
Sweet....thanks!
This actually has helped me on how to open and close the Lopez valve I used it for the first time and I truly struggled with it thanks
I love my Compact. However, the Waiter is a great, even more compact SAK. You can mod the scales to hold a pen, swap out the toothpick for a small ferro rod, carry the mini tools and fire tinder in the corkscrew, and I do about six different things with the combo tool. You will not get the scissors or the hook with file, but you will have a slim one layer SAK with a great selection of tools on it for about half the cost of a new Compact. I'm thinking about doing these Waiters with modded scales for Christmas gifts this year.
our range does not allow non brass cases.
Finally, someone calls them out. NY prepper disgusting.
what size is the nut?
Com0act every time. I cant do without the scissors and nailfile for manu and pedi.
Digging the hat Kris.
grab a waiter and a classic (or signature if u want a pen) and use the extra $20 to get a sharpener or a tec p7 pocket clip or lunch 😅
I have a 45 year old waiter, no toothpick and tweezers. Original with the old style logo, very worn you can just see the logo, always with me. Still great.
Outstanding!!!
What are your top 3 brand for accuracy and doesn't get the gun so dirty to clean?
If the one handed opening actions are all good and don’t have the capacity to pinch you badly then I’d say the one handed actions. Springy pliers are only good until the spring breaks then it’s like any ol set and you might as well get the ol set and be comfortable with opening up ur own pliers than to be used to them opening by themselves all the time then suddenly not.
If you we're using transparent scales your way of doing it would have scratched up the metal, try slipping a exacto blade works much better than a screw driver, or pic with no risks of damage, also have never needed a vise to clamp the scales down 😮
The sight pusher tool that's sold on Glock Store for about $80 once u include shipping, is available on Amazon for $39 shipped (at times).
Spend half that (or less) on a cheap punch (Winchester set is like 18 bucks) set & you'll have a decent set of punches for all kinds of applications instead of a gimmick you'll use one time. Useful for all kinds of tasks, not just changing dovetail sights
@@mfallen2023 I mean you could do that - but why would you wanna hammer on $100 sights that have viles of tritium in them onto a brand new gun - when u can spend another $20 and have the tool made to install them. I went with Night Fision sights, and although I haven't changed the sights on any of my other handguns, now I can, without damaging anything.
@@kctyphoon Because I used a a polymer punch... if a sight can't stand up to a tap from polymer, it's not going to stand-up to recoil and being carried everyday, of course. You tap the dovetail base with an appropriately sized punch, not the actual sight. There are different materials for punches. Brass, Steel, Polymer, probably more. You use a little 6oz hammer and TAP with a punch of the proper material and size, not slam it with a sledge with the heaviest steel punch you can find, lol. Unless you're only going to carry Glocks and never buy other firearms, you're going to end up with a set of punches regardless that'll see 1000x more use than an overpriced, unneeded specialty tool.
@@mfallen2023 well - not sure you can call the tool I purchased overpriced - considering it's a pretty elaborate and decent made tool that won't damage or scratch anything - that I got for half the price most ppl pay, delivered - for a couple bucks more than a pizza and 2 liter bottle of soda. Considering I actually own it, and have used it - I think I made a good purchase and that's what matters. You're free to disagree. Considering it's $600+ to buy the gun and sights, I don't think spending another $39 to protect that investment is a significant amount of money.
@@kctyphoon Thank you for the insight. Would you mind sharing the link for the sight tool on Amazon. Thanks again.

😂😂😂😂😂 Spot on! Bunch of losers. Enjoy the today. Any day could be your last day. Be happy 😊 life is too short. He is right 👍 Living in fear is not healthy.
Canadian prepper has cold steel tomabawk for 92 bucks, then on amazon you can buy the same one for 57 bucks...
Use smaller esbit cubes or get a bigger esbit stove! I have both and prefer esbit
Both of you need way more attention from the EDC and prepper community. It is so nice hearing from level-headed people on these topics.
I used to have absolutely silly battlerattle. At this point, I carry more than anyone around me, BUUUUT it is almost all "can be thrown in a river" level of gear and stuff I actually use...with minimal allowances for "I never use this, but it will save someone if I ever have to". My flipper is a $40 thing that I am not afraid to use and abuse. Admittedly, My fixed-blade is one that resists corrosion and is super hard to sharpen, but I also never use it and it has to only be ready for the ONE time I do need it. Same reason I didnt cheap out on my pistol. I dont have a $90 pen though, Unitball Powertank baby! Get a box of them for nothing and it is close enough to spacepen functionality (pressurized and good ink for writing in any conditions) More to the point of the video: My watch is a $500 Garmin, but it's band is a Leatherman Tread KNOCKOFF. I could put a $80 real Tread on it OOOOR I could put a $18 knockoff pot-steel crappy clone on it. I have it there for the looks/aesthetic and absolute backup tool that I dont intent to use. I had to use it at work once and it did the job, got the blacking scraped off the head I used, and has clear damage from where the screw bit into it and twisted the crappy steel. If for some reason it did bother me, I could get another fake Tread and still saved $20 over the real one. I have been thinking about my regrets.....there HAS to be something, but I am struggling. Even some of the dumber stuff I dont genuinely regret. My first holster for my P365 was overpriced garbage, that was a rough one. I have TOTES of things that I intended to add to my EDC that never made the cut, but I genuinely still like having them even if I dont use or carry them (wow, I may have a problem). Yeah, just walked around and looked...the stuff I would regret is all cheap enough that I dont mind the loss, and the fancy stuff I dont mind having because it is nice and would have a use/be reliable if needed, but are just not EDC worthy. Example, I carry an Olight Warrior 3s every day. I am not an olight fanboi, but I love that flashlight. In my quest to replace it, I got an AceBeam EC 35II and a Sofirn SP35T (both WAY cheaper than the olight). They are both extremely good EDC flashlights that I would gladly suggest to someone that hates olight, or has a reasonable budget. They both fell short of what I would need to replace my Warrior3 (Sofirn was SO CLOSE!!!). I do not regret either one of them and dont feel bad leaving one in the Jeep or tossed into a bag and forgotten until needed. This is gonna have me thinking for a while LOL! thanks! Good vid. I just found you, so I am running through your stuff and so far it has been solid. You got my Sub.
Ooh, I fall under "delusions of grandeur" prepper. I also have the horrible cognitive dissonance of knowing the world isnt going to end, understanding "the gubment" has corruption and issues but not the devil, and having been in enough actual bad situations to know reality from fantasy. I think I just like running scenarios in my head and prepping for it. My EDC started rather stupid, and has been diminishing for years. My prepping for SHTF/EndOfTheWorld is pretty much enough to get with others and be useful. In the completely unrealistic event of societal collapse, I think the most useful thing to have is...society. Hiding in a loot-piñata bunker until your supplies run out is a joke. Getting with your community and providing the information and guidance to help a large group of scared people build up sustainability seems more useful. This and living in "bad winters" land as well, means I do keep about 2 weeks worth of food and water that doesnt need power/heat to utilize around (over my normal stuff...normal folks shop for a week, so it isnt exactly crazy)...it really doesnt take up a ton of space and is useful in several of those unrealistic scenarios that preppers dream of. It is fun being nuts, but not broken...I have actually been useful through my prepping on several occasions and just the felling of Purpose again is nice. Not trying to be "the hero" or that nonsense, I just like being able to help others and feel really bad when I cant.
This is clever. I carry and have had the misfortune of having to use a tq a couple times now. I appreciate the "Spend more time in a calm environment prepping to save effort in critical high-stress times" design. Only change I might make is using normal rubber bands. Easier to snap if they catch and if they are getting old and flimsy, it is time to check up on the tq and replace them as needed. In an insanely dire situation that loop of paracord with the smaller loop, with the addition of a stick/pen/screwdriver, could become a second tq, and the little loop could secure the impromptu windlass to some degree. I'll have to try it and do some test applications with it.
Question: is it possible to wear out the dovetail by replacing the sights to many times. I use a sight pusher.
Canadian prepper definitely, but his BS can be entertaining. However NY Prepper is a clown! 😂
How often do you change these?
Typically when they are too sticky to turn the spindle easily. I don’t think there is any time frame for when you “must” swap them out. If you have a spare… swap it out for a clean one. Then soak the sticky one in hot water to clean it. Some people will say to use soda to get them unclogged, but don’t do that. The sugar actually binds with the protein in tube feeding, and will make the clog worse. Many old nurses like me swore by soda, but new studies show that’s not a good idea. Just goes to show why we should never stop learning. Hope that helps.
How do you take the entire valve off? I’m struggling !
Very well presented You can have all the gear available but if you dont know how to use it whats the point Your also wright when you talk about promoting antibiotics and other meds which i find totally wrong A prepper is not a doctor Sure a suitable first aid kid is handy but one also need to be proficient in first aid Great stuff man Really liked your take on this
Much appreciated, thank you so much.
Do yourself a favor and don’t do it like this. Get a sight pusher tool. Well worth the money
If you’re gonna swap sights often, sure. If it’s a one and done, then why spend as much money on a pusher as one might spend on the sights? Also, if you think a pusher is the best method, then why are you watching a video about how to do it without one? Goes to show that some folks just have to be argumentative…

Good review, thanks! Would you say the Blazer brass felt “snappy”? My local store typically have the blazer brass and federal brass 9mm on sale. Any particular one you’d choose? Thanks
I wouldn’t say either is snappy over the other. Both those choices are good and will serve you well. If I had both options available and at same price, I would go Blazer though. CCI has always been reputable, and I really like them for 22 over any other brand (period). Hope that helps, and thanks for watching.
@@KrisMak thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback!
Btw best way to get duct tape gunk off a blade is to smear some Ballistol or WD40 and just rub it off with a tissue.
I like Goo Gone as well, just has a potent lemon smell after the fact.
My Paul Harrell Tribute comparing 8 types of 124 gr for Accuracy w/ 2 Pistols just went live!
If you do t have a vice cant you just turn it on the side on a table
Federal has always been my first go to ammo and then I’d choose CCI Blazer. But there’s a lot of good brands out there
Full Spectrum Survival, Canadian Prepper and NYPrepper are all basically news channels at this point. NYPrepper is the most annoying to me. The way he raises his pitch at the end of each sentence when speaking 🤬
