Fenny was very generous with her time. We agree with you that she is quite affable. Maybe we will be so fortunate as to visit Xpeng Aeroht in China. -Producer Tim
Dam id love one of those cars with the drone in the back, Since the car charges the drone that would be so much fun,,i build and race drones so i have a real passion for them. That vtol car would be great in traffic jams...lol
The car (carrier) has an impressive range. But the eVTOL looks kind of dinky. Maybe for recreational use in certain restricted areas. For emergency use (police or medical), you need something more solid. An eVTOL that can be a helicopter replacement. And it will probably be heavily regulated, at least at the same level as helicopters. I can't see "flying cars" for widespread individual use. We only have to look at the mess with drones flying around NJ.
Our Xpeng guide said the aircraft is for personal fun. Get airborne, have a look around, come back to the carrier. In America this would probably be categorized as an ultra light. That could mean it requires no license and can be operated just about anywhere as long as it isnt over crowds. Hang gliders, hot air balloons, and paragliders are other good examples of personal recreational flight. The limited altitude prevents this aircraft from being much of a threat to other traffic. -Producer Tim
Any machine which defies gravity is risky. Unlike most combustion helicopters, this has redundant power and can operate even if motors fail or strike birds. Electric motors are much more reliable than complex internal combustion power plants. -Producer Tim
At this point this kind of aircraft has limited range because of battery weight. It s not supposed to carry you from downtown to airport at this stage. It s only for outdoor activity at this point. But i expect this kind of eVTOL to be more mature in 2 - 3 years when battery tech is more advanced.
Drive Fly ride go Electic Miss GoElectric
👍
Nailed it! Thank you for watching! :)
Great reporting, as I loved the concept but didn't get many details when I was there.
We were honored to share this access. Fenny was very generous. -Producer Tim
she seemed to avoid questions as to how long one might expect it to stay in the air on a charge.
You noticed that, too?
We suspect it will be 20min or so and will be impressed if the runtime exceeds that considering the size. -Producer Tim
@@MissGoElectric she used corporate dodging for the battery capacity for the carrier vehicle too
She should have stayed target goals but I'm sure given the rate of change in battery tech, it's a dynamic situation. Still, give us somthing!
I think 2025 is the first time where I feel like I'm truly living in the future now!!!
We feel the same. Thanks for watching!

So fun. You know a company is doing well when the show off stuff like this.

This is certainly a fun product. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Yeah the car can double as a hearse when the drone crash.
I hope they send you a flying car to review. 😊
We might be able to fly one in China later this year. That would be very exciting! -Producer Tim

I wouldn't caught dead on 1 of this, it should come with a warning sign "Fly with your own risk"

@@MissGoElectric Obviously you must to got commission from Xpeng.
