I gotta a question. I've gotten fit with two different brands (Demo days), and one told me I was 2 up. The other told me I was 2 flat. Does the change per brand?
From an standard lie perspective, it seems a bit odd that you would be fit 4 degrees apart. Most OEM manufacturers will have their own standard lie. 7 iron for example is typically between 62 and 63 degrees. So a change of 1 to 2 degrees would be normal if going with different shafts and head weights. The only thing that comes to mind that would warrant a 4 degree change would be a swing change. For instance if you were originally fit at 2 up and were swing across the line to more inside out with lower hands through the hitting area. The drastic shift in swing plane can result in a change to the lie angle of the golf club.
