I so deeply appreciate Dr. Ascol's sobriety and maturity.
Wish I knew more about who was writing this report. The report is only as good as the motives of the people writing it and quite honestly there aren't many in SBC leadership I'd trust to write a report like this.

The Church doesn’t need an SBC sexual abuse task force. The Church needs to abolish the corrupt corporate #SBC. The local Church must remain truly autonomous, Biblical, healthy, repentant, and self-disciplined.

When Paul told us to submit to governing authorities he made crime sinful. It's important. The SBC committed crime ad sin by being so evil with abuse victims. The SBC is a picture of why so many people end up rejecting Christ. The church has become a joke in todays world. A den of biblical illiteracy and hypocrisy!
If you've been praying for the SBC to be made humble then your prayers have been answered in spades the past year. What a dumpster fire.

I’m curious, in what way has Ascol or Founders been moving in the direction of liberal wokeism?

@@kerrickchavarria8935 Tom Ascol is TOTALLY AGAINST wokeism, CRT, etc. In 2019, when proposition 9 was railroaded into the SBC, Tom did his best to stop it on the convention floor. I encourage you to take a little time and do your own investigation into Tom Ascol. I believe he will make a great, CONSERVATIVE president for the SBC.
@@walkinlove930 while some in high places within the SBC may have strayed, that is not representative of the group as a whole currently or historically.
@@barryhicks2827 Actually I am well aware of how Ascol is standing in truth and Im glad he's willing to bring the SBC out of this liberal nonsense. I was asking since OG made it suggestive that Founders or Ascol has been liberal in some way, shape or form. Cheers
