Kaisuhina go look at the responses, their are four that I can name, ai, mercedes benz, Porsche Collector, and Porsche 911, all are pretty salty and are saying that it's fake or not impressive.
it depends on the video, i saw another video talking about the nurburgring lap by a smaller channel and all of the 9 comments were about how it was faked or how porsche will top it in a few months
3:21 When that v12 screamed from 5th to 6th gear I felt that... Edit: Lamborghini did a great job with the SVJ setting a new record, *BUT* ... there was parts in the track where the driver missed a gear or over revved which could be fixed for a faster time... I'd say without the missed gears or over revs he could maybe make up about 0.8 seconds of time
even though porsche have beaten this car in the nurburgring don't forget that the porsche gt3 rs has turbos while the Aventador svj is only naturaly aspirated which means this is still the fastest car ever lapped in the nurburgring without turbos just pure power
Haters and porsche lovers created the controversy just like they did when the GTR dominated the 911 turbo years back! It took them a few years to shut and move on and make better cars! Lets face it the easiest car to boost power figures for headline laptimes would be the gt2rs and not n/a lambos which are already rung out
I agree. the blogger never admitted it though. they just shut up when the data was released. I am waiting on them to do the same thing here. They have been silent so far though. I wonder why?
Every time I see one of these videos I think, guys 40 years ago were going this fast around THIS circuit- in aluminum, gas-filled, bombs on wheels. I’m in no way trying to diminish the skill and bravery of these modern record breakers. It just reaffirms the single mindedness on victory that those guys had. Outstanding.
Wow.. that lap was not even a perfect lap.. he redlined it at the beginning and made a few smaller mistakes.. that is scary -> a 6:44.97 and it wasn‘t even a perfect lap.. even though i think the gt2rs also had some potential to go faster than a 6:47 but not a 6:44.97 more like a 6:46.2 or sth.. congrats lamborghini! Hard work pays off!
actually, for such a long track, 1 or 2 seconds difference between them are almost negligible given the different drivers behind the wheel. There are some other factors that affected the final result, such as the track temperature.
I’m agree with you but I’m sure Lamborghini would have given him a few runs and taken the fastest of them. The track is quite long so perhaps those mistakes were overshadowed by other great corners.
There's no such thing as a perfect lap on the Nurburgring which is why I don't take the times seriously. No human being alive can take a stock car and extract absolutely 100% of the performance with a picture perfect line across the track. No matter who's driving there will always be time left on the table. Its not a consistent course. You can get an idea of a cars performance here, but a much better test would be a smaller track, say, Laguna Seca, the Redbull Ring, Buttonwillow which is the one motor trend uses. Here the car more that the driver is on showcase here. The drivers on the Nurburgring are truly exceptional, what this man accomplished in the car is amazing. But think about how much time could be shaved off his laptime if a A.I. or computer were driving, something that could take every corner perfectly with no errors. It would be quite a significant difference. Put that A.I on a smaller track and the difference gets much smaller which allows use to see the full potential of a car.
Great Job Lamborghini. Porsche fans will say that Lamborghini has faked the lap time. I don't think so cause the GT2RS is a Turbo charged car, the response of the engine is going to be slower then an NA engine. The Lambo has an AWD with a RWS that gives it an advantage coming out of the corners. And the ALA system responses much faster then any other active spoiler out there with saves them a lot of time. Remember the performante that set a lap record of 6:52.01 and nobody believed it ? Well that performante set records on 10 different race tracks. And btw the people who are crying about the cage Its there for driver safety
Beh, non so in quanti riusciranno a capire quasto messaggio, ma cmq volevo dire che è un orgoglio essere italiani! Grande Lambo, ben fatto come sempre!💪👌
single clutch is just as fast and smooth as a single clutch at the highest Rpm's the advantages of a double clutch is smooth bottom end shifts. probably still a single
The Aventador really feels incredibly wild, just like an enraged bull. Marco is amazing and has to rein it in with a lot of control. There are several moments where you could say the bull briefly takes the lead. The time of 6:44:97 is extreme, yet I can’t shake the feeling that the duo of the Aventador and Marco could significantly cut down the time even more.
It’s so nice to see this car drivin for what it’s built for. Versus the other videos were all they do is sit in parking lots and rev them or stand next to the car for pictures or the worst is where they constantly do burn outs all day with them. This is what this car is built for.
Congrats to Lamborghini! A seriously committed drive from Marco Mapelli to hustle that SVJ round in 6:44! Perhaps the last naturally aspirated V12 lap record before we start seeing hybrid V12 versions from Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Excellent skills, superb steering. I fully enjoyed it. It's very impressive to drive a civil car that weighs 1500 kg like that with 6 :44, i.e., pushing it to its limits. *A huge, massive like for this video.* The car didn't do any work. It's the driver's (pilot's) skills pushing the car to its limits: proper braking (with the left foot), manual shifting to make sure the right gear is used, and excellent steering. That said, the car was (I'm sure) fitted with a racing rear wing, racing front skirt and racing tires. The car also deserves a lot of kudos. For example, the Pagani Zonda F did this lap in only 7 :24 (also driven by a highly professional race driver). It's very impressive how fast civil cars became. The BMW Z4 GT3 (a DTM racing car) did this lap in only 7 :59 but that was a 3.5km longer lap (24.4 km), which means The Z4 GT3 DTM would probably have lapped it in 6 :45 - 6 :55), which means this civil Lambo is basically on equal terms with a DTM racing car (they weigh only 1200 kg, have proper huge wings, proper semiautomatic/manual sequential gearboxes but they lack stability control or full-wheel drive to make it impossible for a dummy driver to drive them who would immediately spin out). That's a superb achievement Lamborghini made! And you can easily drive a car like that. It's easy-peasy but you won't set a record a pro can set; you'll just spin out and destroy your Lambo :)))
dmn23 Lambo does have some history at Le Mans and Endurance. The huracan won in GT3 at Daytona 24h. The murcielago raced in GT1 and some old one i dont remeber wich but some old like the 350sl was the first lambo at Le Mans 24h in the 60s
Obviously the V12 has great performances and the aero tech helps quite a lot. What i'm impressed with is that seems like the pilot is not pushing to the real limit of the car, he seems quite "relaxed" !!! My guess this Lambo can do better that that. I'm truly impressed. Amazing job Lamborghini !!!!
@@accelerationcomparision3982 he never said it had to be production, the gt2rs is the fastest street legal car around the nurburgring. Therefore porche is king once again
No there's plenty of grip but jus tvefore the straight and by the end of it, the tyres are shot. Was the same with the SV. Same big slide in the same place after the straight before the clock gate.
Nothing like a free-range V12. No turbo, no supercharger, no hybrid. 6.5 liters of pure, raw muscle. As much as I like the 919, with all its mechanical and aerodynamical wizardry, and the Bugatti Chiron for its unmatched majesty and exclusivity, I'll keep true to the naturally-aspirated V12, the King of engines. *Te Salute, La Squadra Lamborghini.*
amarjit singh the koenigsegg one:1 could have gone faster at spa, but spa has noise restrictions meaning koenigsegg would have to restrict the car to make it quieter
BJK1715 Can't set a Nürnburgring record with "serious understeer", dumbass, you'd simply lose too much time. Even if, can you imagine if it didn't have that "understeer"? It probably shave off another 5 seconds. Ouch...
We're not all upset. As a Porsche fan I welcome the competition, it's great to see Lamborghini really bring it. Hopefully the battle for top spot continues with these two.

it depends on the video, i saw another video talking about the nurburgring lap by a smaller channel and all of the 9 comments were about how it was faked or how porsche will top it in a few months
3:21 When that v12 screamed from 5th to 6th gear I felt that...
Edit: Lamborghini did a great job with the SVJ setting a new record, *BUT* ... there was parts in the track where the driver missed a gear or over revved which could be fixed for a faster time...
I'd say without the missed gears or over revs he could maybe make up about 0.8 seconds of time
Isn't that 6th to 7th?
@@ariqzachry no it isnt
same for all the others... There is no 100 percent perfect lap around the nordschleife
even though porsche have beaten this car in the nurburgring don't forget that the porsche gt3 rs has turbos while the Aventador svj is only naturaly aspirated which means this is still the fastest car ever lapped in the nurburgring without turbos just pure power
Never seen such commitment through karussell
I know the Huracan performante had a lot of controversy, with it’s run but this looked fucking fast! Wow! 😬
The way this things turns in is insane!!! It looks as if the car dwarfed!
Haters and porsche lovers created the controversy just like they did when the GTR dominated the 911 turbo years back! It took them a few years to shut and move on and make better cars!
Lets face it the easiest car to boost power figures for headline laptimes would be the gt2rs and not n/a lambos which are already rung out
@ ZappoTan: I don't remember apologizing, let alone being forced to do so.
I agree. the blogger never admitted it though. they just shut up when the data was released. I am waiting on them to do the same thing here. They have been silent so far though. I wonder why?
G8TED Some loved it on opposite.
Thunderous boomclap of a V12 lamborghini is pristine...
Love that sound...
Man he can drive!! When it comes down to it the driver pushes that car to its full potential!! Not many could do that!! Respect
Wow.. that lap was not even a perfect lap.. he redlined it at the beginning and made a few smaller mistakes.. that is scary -> a 6:44.97 and it wasn‘t even a perfect lap.. even though i think the gt2rs also had some potential to go faster than a 6:47 but not a 6:44.97 more like a 6:46.2 or sth.. congrats lamborghini!
+Rico Ru he is also right on the very edge at so many points, car looks tail happy at a lot of points but then again the Ring is a bit bumpy at places
The driver in this track is very important because it is so long and need a lot of practice.
This video was stressful !! great driving skills!
0:15 what was that gear change?
Hea Mees He downshifted into the redline
Fabian MadridReyes He lost 1 sec out there
I always loved this car, its appearance and perfomance are just amazing!!!
anyone else notice the frightening amount of times traction was lost throughout the lap?
the car seems evil
Great Job Lamborghini.
Porsche fans will say that Lamborghini has faked the lap time. I don't think so cause the GT2RS is a Turbo charged car, the response of the engine is going to be slower then an NA engine. The Lambo has an AWD with a RWS that gives it an advantage coming out of the corners. And the ALA system responses much faster then any other active spoiler out there with saves them a lot of time.
Remember the performante that set a lap record of 6:52.01 and nobody believed it ? Well that performante set records on 10 different race tracks.
And btw the people who are crying about the cage
Its there for driver safety
I definitely agree although the GT2RS has no turbo lag. Small snails no turbo lag. The Lamborghini just has better engineering
btw the gt2rs has set a new record 😂 6:40
@@mgpps114 the Porsche isn't production, it did best the p1lm though.
Neither is the full cage. And don´t say for safety reasons only cause it stiffens the chassis a lot.
GT2 has 0 turbo lag as well as Rear steering
Beh, non so in quanti riusciranno a capire quasto messaggio, ma cmq volevo dire che è un orgoglio essere italiani! Grande Lambo, ben fatto come sempre!💪👌
ragazzi ma il pilota? la macchina non e tutto onore al pilota
Single or dual clutch? Gears seem a lot smoother
still a single
single
Because they save the weight. Single clutch gearbox is lighter than dual one.
Mustaq Tahmid has to have duel clutch
single clutch is just as fast and smooth as a single clutch at the highest Rpm's the advantages of a double clutch is smooth bottom end shifts. probably still a single
Haven't seen a lambo turn in like this ever. No understeer, no oversteer perfect balance. This is pure engineering. Long live the king.
Great vid but too bad we don't see the speedo !
Curious to see about the McLaren Senna on the ring..
Incredible, Lamborghini !!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Nice!
Still waiting on the One:1's lap time 😭😭
If only they would get allowed to do a lap or 5 there. :( They want to atleast.
This pos would comment here.
I'm not the biggest Lamborghini fan but my god this is amazing! Good job to Lamborghini and Marco Mapelli for setting the Nordschleife record!
Sounds like a gt3 ! Beautiful lap and this sound oh my god
Lamborghini😍😍😍 KING OF THE RING!
I thought Porsche was,
I wish there was a speedometer reading for this video! Anyways congratulations Lamborghini!
he hit 332 km/h in that long line :))
And the carousel was way too perfect!
Stanciu George - Gabriel Thank for sharing! That's crazy!
Stanciu George - Gabriel 332 idicated... So it was around 315 to 320 vbox
This still blows my mind, especially since Porsche was so proud of their 918 breaking 7. Floor wiped.
The newest GT2RS beat this. The 991.2 GT3RS also beat the 918

I've been fortunate to see and hear one of these beasts in person. IMO this is the ultimate Lamborghini
6:26 my butt was clenched at that speed entering that bend lol! Great driving!
Excelent After huracan performante we have the Aventador svj
Tried my best in forza 7 and can only get 7:27 time. Damn this guy is fast
My Best in Forza 7
Veneno 6,37min
Full track "Green Hell" begins from Stadium on Forza 7 Motorsport , so your time very fast . My time 8:33 by Ultima 1020 .
Couldn't go faster than 7:30 on project cars 2 either. (Ginetta G7)
7:20 on Grand Turismo
Edit: 7:02 on Amuse S2000 GT1
I did a 7:10 in an Aventador SV with an extra 20 horsepower for a similar performance to the SVJ
It’s so nice to see this car drivin for what it’s built for.
Versus the other videos were all they do is sit in parking lots and rev them or stand next to the car for pictures or the worst is where they constantly do burn outs all day with them.
This is what this car is built for.
How amazing this car is! What a great steering! The tyres are super planted on the ground too. Crazily magnificent lap.
Can’t wait to see solomondrin drive this
Crt7skill knob Jockey.
Crt7skillz he knows jackshit about cars
Give us the video with the vbox overlay! At a minimum, it would be good to see the speed display.
Congrats to Lamborghini! A seriously committed drive from Marco Mapelli to hustle that SVJ round in 6:44! Perhaps the last naturally aspirated V12 lap record before we start seeing hybrid V12 versions from Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Maybe, but I think the last one will be the special version of the 812 Superfast.
The shifts sounds way smoother than in all previous Aventadors, very impressed. Finally a V12 lambo track car since the Diablo GTR.
Gotta give the driver recognition top guy!
When will Ferrari ask others to hold their beer?
Peter Pan that's what I've been asking.
Ferrari would only embarrass themselves
Peter Pan ferraris arr only "crazy fast" around fiorano... That's it. The pista would lose on track to the 600lt...
You mean McLaren?
Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari don’t care about the Nürburgring.
5:20-5:40 is scary! Great job, Marco & Lamborghini & Pirelli. Proud to be italian :)
Man, I'm watching this and gripping my seat.
This car is absurdly fast. Love it!
Congratulations lambs I wish I was old enough to have one
Xxx Fan You mean rich enough to have one
Xxx Fan Lambs? XD
WGACA Must be a rich kid.
Love Lambo's increasing dedication to sporting....JOIN F1.
Red Leader Nah go To Le Mans
This is the correct answer. F1 is a snooze. I'd love to see them go full batshit LMP but that seems unlikely. GTE would be a super cool alternative.
They just won le mans... And I think spa too (obv in their category)
dmn23 Lambo does have some history at Le Mans and Endurance. The huracan won in GT3 at Daytona 24h. The murcielago raced in GT1 and some old one i dont remeber wich but some old like the 350sl was the first lambo at Le Mans 24h in the 60s
Whoops. It appears I'm an idiot. Nothing to see here, carry on.
Love Lamborghini!
The balls on this driver! absolute kudo's - brutally fast track and car! SVJ is a beast!
The Porsche GT2 RS just broke the world record... 6:40:33
Driver missed a shift, heavy ass N/A Engine. Plus, Gt2 rs MR is not a production car. So, Lambo is still king.
@@accelerationcomparision3982 he never said it had to be production, the gt2rs is the fastest street legal car around the nurburgring. Therefore porche is king once again
Acceleration Comparision offcourse the svj with no paint, full rollcage, no roof, is a production car 😅👍🏻
@@sebastianvittel74 It's a production car in Nurburgring books sorry.
@@sebastianvittel74 the porsche was not stock, thus making it nit a production car and the svj comes out of factory with a roll cage
Is it just me or the car looks really slippery at certain point? Looks like it doesn't have enough grip on those Pirelli tyres..
More like the weight of the car is showing, it’s running on Pirelli Trofeo R, hugely grippy tyres
Yep you're probably right. The inertia. Or maybe not enough downforce..
No there's plenty of grip but jus tvefore the straight and by the end of it, the tyres are shot. Was the same with the SV. Same big slide in the same place after the straight before the clock gate.
Tires overheated by the end, Heavy car problems
Just on the last part of the lap due to overheated tyres.
This shows that turbos and hybrid power is not necessary
What about superchargers?
919 is there to prove it will be.
Imagine that as a Hybrid....
Nick Ferrari and Porsche don’t use turbo’s and hybrids for speed, but for emission standards...
depends on its application
Nothing like a free-range V12. No turbo, no supercharger, no hybrid. 6.5 liters of pure, raw muscle.
As much as I like the 919, with all its mechanical and aerodynamical wizardry, and the Bugatti Chiron for its unmatched majesty and exclusivity, I'll keep true to the naturally-aspirated V12, the King of engines.

BJK1715 Yeah, you know best cause you drove it yourself right?
did you watch the vid? it's OBVIOUS dumass
BJK1715 Can't set a Nürnburgring record with "serious understeer", dumbass, you'd simply lose too much time. Even if, can you imagine if it didn't have that "understeer"? It probably shave off another 5 seconds. Ouch...
