Mattel Adventure Park is hopefully going to be huge for Arizona. I can’t believe we didn’t have an indoor amusement park already. As someone who has idlewild as a home park, they would treat it horribly. Palace Entertainment hasn't added a single ride there in their over 15 years of owning the park, and they've only lost a ride every year

Idlewild’s Wild Mouse Still exists!
I would say Knoebels or Delgrossos would be better homes for Leap the Deeps. Idlewild hasn’t been great with expansion or preserving classic attractions.

I'm with you on the Knoebels idea. They kinda have the perfect recipe to keep it alive. Maintenance staff familiar with antique rides and one-of-a-kind wooden roller coasters, a well attended park with tons of charm, an excellent relationship with the ACE and enthusiast community and a desire to keep the historic charm of rides alive. I don't think it will happen because I think the priority is #1 save the park, #2 lease the land and save the coaster, #3 wait a few years and hope things change. But if Lakemont starts talking about tearing it down, I could definitely see Knoebels at the top of the list for relocation.
I could weirdly see Kings Island doing something with the Cincinnati Reds specifically. They have a lot of the same sponsors and vendors, and both have been such a historic part of the city it's hard to not picture either of them there.

After reading "Kings Island: A Ride Through Time" (written/originally published in 2021), it mentioned that Kings Island wants to work on their kids area and water park. Because we got the kids area update in 2024, I assume the water park will come in 2025 and the next major coaster in 2026. But Kings Island is my home park, so I can always hope for 2025

Energylandia definitely needs a slowdown in expansion. I've always thought they were spreading themselves too thin too fast. They should take a break and start in a few years with some new flat/thrill rides before going to another coaster. Also it will give them time to build an audience. Nothing wrong with family coasters. They're always good adds to a park. And the new ones look pretty fun and exciting. I think a lot of the new ones are good moves and much less expensive than a new BnM.

I’d sell the Leap the Dips moving idea, but not, as you argued, because I think Lakemont will get it together (I don’t think the president even has an interest in reviving the coaster). I am selling the idea that it would move because no other park would find it an asset to pay for a coaster that will only be a permanent practical and economic nightmare for them. I can't see any park, large or small, turning a profit on the acquisition.

I think Gravity Group could build a 200 foot wood coaster using the Engineered Precut Track system. However, If we learned anything in this current age of marketing, the parks can lay claim to pretty much anything and the enthusiast seem to all too eager to buy in. That being said, if GCI built a steel structure over the 200 foot benchmark and dropped Titan Track down it through the pull out before converting to traditional wood for an additional 2000 feet in layout it could be marketed and would be considered a wood hyper coaster. Isn't that's essentially what we have with Iron Gwazi and Zadra claiming to be hyper hybrids?
As an Arizonan heres my take on the new park and hotel i think it will do alright but i do worry about how far out the park is out there like West gate is pretty far from the main Phoenix hub so it might be hard to get out there and another issue, its also not entirely on the way to California either so thats another problem to look at..
Glendale is close enough to Phoenix just like most major parks are in the suburbs of main cities. It's not far from I 10 so that helps also, just depends where you're coming from if youre on 10 or 40

I thought I heard a rumor awhile back that SeaWorld was eyeing up MarineLand in Niagara Falls Canada to purchase? Also Predator at Darien is going on it's 3rd year now with Titan Track that has recently arrived and has begun installation, so I don't think that it's going to get RMC'd at this point.

I think Six Flags is working with GCI, especially all the work that’s been put into predator at Darien Lake on retracing all the wooden coasters

I noticed fury325 has recently started to rattle in certain spots already. I’m predicting it’ll have to have its track replaced or rebuilt in the next 5-7 years. I only see it cause it’s the tallest chain giga so it has a lot more stresses that weren’t tested before hand

I think people also ignore the possibility that Mattel Adventure World wouldn't need a winter offseason, if anything it would be better to put that from June-August when not as many people may show up due to the heat. Is it likely to work like that? No, but it's something to ponder.
Especially with the way everyone is on vacation and out of school in the summer
@@AirtimeThrills yeah, it's about 50/50 if the park is busier or not in the summer, but my general thought is people will go on vacation to Arizona in the winter, not the summer.
