he portrayed dong mae perfectly! every cast done their job well, however there's something intriguing about dong mae. he delivered dong mae feelings well through his eyes and i just cant stop being amazed. you can feel dong mae sadness, happiness, longing, rage, and frustration through yys amazing acting. crap i even feel afraid nearly pissing myself (but he still hawt tho?) when dong mae was on his killing mode. not to mention his long ass makeup time to be dong mae everytime. i am so happy to see a dedicated actor like him. hope yys get a lot more amazing roles in the future!
he looks more attractive with facial hair 😍 also when he speaks japanese his voice gets deeper which made him more attractive. omg im so whipped for this man
just finished Mr. Sunshine and i loved Dong Mae so much, it hurt me every time he interacted with ae shin he never really was able to show his true feelings for her... i mean i liked eugene choi, but Dong Mae x Ae Shin had such palpable chemistry that i rooted for him til the end despite knowing it's gonna wreck me lol

I finished the drama yesterday night and I couldn't move on from it, especially for Goo Dong Mae. It hurts me every time I think of his unrequited love for Ae-Sin. He is so cool. Despite being so different from his true self, Yoo YeonSeok played and embodied Goo Dong Mae down to every look and facial expression.

🙋🏻♀️. From. 🇺🇸. Thank goodness for Netflix, they are finally adding quality Kdramas 🎬. I will try not to give any spoilers for those who have not watched it yet. I just finished watching this drama and had to comment... kudos to both the writer and director 👏👏 And to the perfect cast who outdid themselves with outstanding acting 🎭. At first I was not comfortable with the 20 year age gap between Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung Hun but as the drama progressed I got used to it, although I much preferred Dong Mae for her. The dialogue between the 3 men were at times hilarious as so was the delivery of lines 🤣😂. If you haven’t seen this yet do put it on your to do list and don’t forget the box of tissues. Cinematography is both touching and spectacular. Awesome wardrobes 👘🎩🧥. My favorite character was Dong Mae by actor Yoo Yeon Seok who was stunning in his portrayal. 🙆🏻♀️. ❌⭕️❌⭕️

i watched mr sunshine after hospital playlist because of him, and i can say that he is really a good actor. he can portray any character. i was so in love with dong mae, but a bit annoyed because he was so in love with ae shin and never looked at hina until her last breath.
Interesting characters: Bidam, Sa-yong (baesoobin), Taltal of empress ki and dong Mae. Between dong Mae and Bidam fate, Bidam's still the most heart breaking.
