This was a joy to watch, like meditation really. When I began watching, I was like, "Oh yeah, just doodling, like I used to do as a kid." And then it hit me: "Why on earth did I ever stop?" Time to get back to free, open doodling with no self-critic involved. Thanks for this!
Oh my god I look so forward to your videos! They always inspire me so much... I literally want to stop whatever i'm doing and create art! 😂🎉 Thank you so much! ❤
You can gesso your page first to add extra strength to the paper. Then layers of acrylic paint painted on. Then mark making with Posca acrylic markers and Sharpie pens. Alissa also has lots and lots of courses on her website that I highly recommend. She often has discounts on her courses that make them really affordable. I hope this helps. ❤❤❤
I'm so obsessed with how you can make a page with so much black, still look so bright and cheery!
I love all the different ways you doodled here, Alisa! 🌈💕💚💘🎨🪅🐦
Would never have thought to put all the black o the page...but it looked brilliant when you had finished...inspirational..❤
As always, each one a masterpiece. I just love the freedom in your play. One day I hope to get there and not feel stuck .
Stunning pages!, thanks so much for sharing.
I love it when you post. Always a joy and inspiration. Thank you so much.
Brilliant...keep them coming❤

Love this! Do you have a video on how you prep an altered book for art journaling? Thanks so much!

Pretty! What kind of pens are you using???? They are cool!
What paint is that? Acrylic, gouache, or acryla gouache? Love how it turned out!
