It’s so difficult to compose myself and suppress my laughter when all the comedians are in one panel shows. Hence, I love to binge watch WILTY. Thanks for sharing!
I'm not British, so many times I don't get the jokes or references, but I really love seeing them genuinely laughing and having a good time. Makes me feel better too!
The odd thing about Miles' story is that, at least here in the US in the '70s, those little cereal boxes from the variety packs had dotted lines and instructions on how to cut the back side of the box and bag, making a sort "bowl" of and pour milk in. Might have had something to do with school breakfast programs, not sure. Hand the kid a box, and a little carton of milk, etc.
I was thinking the same thing. It's been about 5 decades since I've had one, but I seem to remember them being perforated along the top, bottom and along the center.
Once we got into streaming channels Brit Box was the first channel we got. Miranda was a great show with the only problem with it was it didnt keep on going!
Checking the piano and... Yes! That was indeed an A! When she sang it, I said "neighborhood of B" (best I could do, but still not bad!), so I actually bought it. Had to check for sure after watching the whole thing.
I've seen other commenters on older versions of this say the same. Lucky guess, I think. I play a bit of basic guitar, but I couldn't tell you what note anyone is singing. Not a clue.
I always buy or sew for my children, especially my older son, clothes that are too large for them - so they can grow into them. It sucks if they grow out of favorite items too quickly.
The mini variety pack cereal boxes are designed to have milk poured straight into them. That's why the inner bag is made from wax paper. You use a sharp knife to 'saw' across the surrations on the top of the box, being careful not to let the blade go too deep into the box, but deep enough to cut the wax paper just under the surrations.. Then, pull the two cardboard/wax paper flaps up, pour in your milk, and tuck in. Sorry if everyone knows this already, but the panelists seem to think it was odd.
We were rewatching the 5th Potter film and Miles Jupp appears in a fleeting scene on telly as a weatherman...he was hilarious on that too 😂. I rewatch this episode for David in his cape❤
"I don't know" -miranda "I do!" -david🤭🤣 "I don't have any breakfast type seepage issues" oh lol Looks like David was a Doctor Who number 3 (Jon Pertwee) fan since his regeneration was the one who donned a cape Barry was definitely the smooth ace this episode. With the rest this is an awesome episode 👏
I would love to have it here in the U.S. too. But only if Brits run it. Even so, it would be very difficult to find another trio like David, Lee, and Rob.
If you cut a capital ɪ in the face of rhe box, piercing the wax paper but not the bottom..it makes a perfectly functional bowl. That's the fun of them. Only a spoon to wash. I always do mine that way. I think that's what they were invented for.
Barry should have said their names were Mark Butcher (only Miles knows cricket), Tom Baker [not that one], and Bobby Chandler. Would have been easier to remember.
I keep saying this, I want to see Miranda Hart on Taskmaster. She's brilliant.
I'll watch her in anything
Agreed!
That would be complete chaos, how can we make this happen?!?
Yesssss!!!
I love Miranda Hart in anything!
“She objects to the rise of the machines” is one of the most randomly hilarious lines I’ve heard in comedy
lol Sublime.
"That is not how a Hoover operates" is pretty sweet, too. Although less random.
Chirani ...agree! 😄
“In that case, we own a cow.” For some reason that line struck me as particularly funny.

"It's not just neck-up cynicism" is a quote I feel like I could use....
Melissa...I loved that one too
26:07 Miranda: "pbbbf." Lee: "B flat." Lee actually guessed the right pitch.
I think he said P flat, but he did get the A right.

Same thing in Canada. They’re a camping staple!
Absolutely correct.
Ha. I remember doing that as well. That was the fun of it for us. Waaaaay simpler times.
They still do
@@ShadowDrakken Is that right?? I hope you're not kidding, because I am definitely going in search of!
In America, those mini cereal boxes are meant to put milk it.
I was thinking the same thing. It's been about 5 decades since I've had one, but I seem to remember them being perforated along the top, bottom and along the center.
Miles Jupp is in the building. 'nuff said. This is going to be a great episode of WILTY. 😀
Once we got into streaming channels Brit Box was the first channel we got. Miranda was a great show with the only problem with it was it didnt keep on going!
I was just telling someone how sad I was when her show ended. Same with Gav & Stacey; I miss those shows!
Everybody on this episode is great! So in love with this show!
This is a fantastic episode.
I ❤ MIRANDA!!!!!!!
my pitch isn't perfect but i'm pretty sure lee was right, miranda was singing an A
Checking the piano and... Yes! That was indeed an A! When she sang it, I said "neighborhood of B" (best I could do, but still not bad!), so I actually bought it. Had to check for sure after watching the whole thing.
I'm a piano teacher and I thought he was right too!
She legit sang an A though...
I've seen other commenters on older versions of this say the same. Lucky guess, I think. I play a bit of basic guitar, but I couldn't tell you what note anyone is singing. Not a clue.
A sharp / B flat actually
Don’t know about in England, but in Canada those variety packs are made to pour milk into them.
Lee guessed the first note correctly. It was an A.
Hilarious! I really enjoyed the laughs. ´Such fun!´
You did not disappoint. I wanted this comment in the worst way. Thank you
I only watched this for Miranda but they were all hilarious 😂
Miles is always on point in any show, but yeah, I watched for Miranda mostly too.
"middle class disgruntled vampire!"

13:54 the day Barry Cryer out-Lee Mack'd Lee Mack
lol Yes, indeed he did.
Miranda Hart looks really pretty in this episode.

I’d like to see Miles on Taskmaster.
Shrunken David reminds me of Dorf. “Dorf does Panel Shows”
I thought the exact same thing when I saw that the first time lol ... clearly none of the panel are Dorf fans lol
"I don't know" -miranda "I do!" -david🤭🤣
"I don't have any breakfast type seepage issues" oh lol

Good On Barry Cryer in Fancy Dress. Miranda at least has a festive cardi on.
Why don't we have a version of this show in the U.S.? It's great
@@smellslikelayne we do?? I was thinking I we did we'd ruin it as it's the British humor that makes it so funny.
An American game show without prizes?? Right!! 😳
I would love to have it here in the U.S. too. But only if Brits run it. Even so, it would be very difficult to find another trio like David, Lee, and Rob.
@@pechaa you got that right
According to this keyboard, Miranda DID sing an "A". So, Lee was right at least twice.
That's how you're supposed to eat them. They're designed to open up into a bowl.
Possibly the funniest episode ever!
Which note was the triangle?
Oh they almost always make the extra one Cheerios . It's never a fun one like Lucky charms or something 🤣
They did use too make those variety packs with perforated tops so we could eat the cereal out of the box.
Lee @ Miranda over the cigar story=💀
Miles´ guffaws are the best thing since sliced bread.
💕 😂🤣🤣🤣😂 💕

Funny enough, Miranda did actually sing an A
8:24 Some are. Ours is.
The captions are out of control. 😂
Barry should have said their names were Mark Butcher (only Miles knows cricket), Tom Baker [not that one], and Bobby Chandler. Would have been easier to remember.
We had a dog named after a lady buried in a cemetery. Her name was Daisy Plum.
13:33 Called that one. I am indeed eating, listening, and not watching.
I don't think Lee ever smoked a regular cigar
RIP, Barry.
I wish everyone would look in the eyes of animals and decide not to eat them.
Hear hear xxx
Does this reflect true English culture ?
What is wrong with you people. That is how you're supposed to use the little cereal boxes.
I feel like Stephen Mangan fits the hot rodent brief.
I wish Miranda Hart woukd dress up in authentic shield maiden kit.
Kinky
Not so much. Since after she dresses up in it I want her to use her axe or sword to make mincemeat of a certain president.
@@matttrafton2725 yeah , if that's how you get your jollies you might want to seek professional help
Actually, that is exactly how the mini cereals are meant to be eaten while camping
British people making fun of those with good teeth is hilarious and tragic
As someone with perfect pitch, Miranda did sing an A.
Take A Moment
WILY.
Always loved your show, pity the chairman.
Wish you were better.
I still love you really x
