    On the Dept I work on, I couldn't do a 48hr shift. That would kill me. I'd have to retire.

    So, the guy in the beginning of the video said they used the AED. The other guy asked did yall shock them? He said "no shock advised". So, why does the AED need to be sent out for refurb if it wasn't actually used? Or was this just a skit?

    • @mic7265
      @mic7265 3 года назад

      Probably a sanitation thing as the machine would have been hooked up to the patient so they’ll need new pads and what ever else got touched

    • @Goober10584
      @Goober10584 3 года назад

      @@mic7265 nope. Just the pads would be all that touched the patient. Those simply unplug and should be replaced with a new set. Absolutely no reason for the whole AED to be sent out. Even if it did shock, that just takes away battery juice. There would still be no reason to send the whole unit out.

      Only thing I can think of is while they were using it it malfunctioned and they noticed it on the call. Other than that probably some reason that makes little sense

  • @tonybradford1719

    Fun fact: all firefighters or most are trained how to change their scba bottle while still on air and even inside a building where they have low to zero visibility and if they cant get out of a building they know to find a safe spot and how to conserve air if they are low on air

    Zuviel verschenkter Platz! Die Amis sollten sich mal ein Beispiel an deutschen Aufbauherstellern nehmen.

      Ja bei uns sind die Fahrzeuge ja auch kleiner, genauso wie die Straßen. Ich mein, stell mal ein HLF und eine Engine nebeneinander, der Größenunterschied allein ist schon krass.

      @@JackMacLupus Ja toll! Den Platz in der "Engine" könnte man um einiges besser nutzen wenn man etwas Ahnung vom Fahrzeugbau hätte...
